you get what you pay for

Posted May 19, 2017
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful
Cons: the cleanliness of the public areas, and a little bit more extensive breakfast would have been nice
Location: Down town Minneapolis, Target Field, Target center, Paisley Park, Southdale Mall, Mall of America
So I was looking for a hotel that would keep me under the $200 mark for a two night visit to the Twin Cities. And I thought I found the deal of the Month with $57 a night. So my Girlfriend and I checked in, The man behind the counter was extremely friendly, and later wen't out of his way to give my 2 year old son a high five. So the staff 10 out of 10. But when we got to our room there were more light switches then there were lights. And half of them didn't do anything. Which we found rather strange. But thought...oh well you get what you pay for I guess. The room appeared to be clean and well kept. But when my girlfriend sat on the toilet she about fell onto the floor. The toilet was not securely fastened to the floor. and would rock back and forth, nearly tipped the top of the tank off. Then out TV wouldn't work. So I called the front desk and they told me to punch in "58" and bam! it worked. So I hung up and was satisfied watching American pickers on the History channel......But later that evening I tried to watch the news. And the only channel that came in was the History Channel. So we got up the next day and toured the city and came back to a room that the maid staff had cleaned up. But when they put the blankets on the bed, there were holes in them. So I was a bit irritated with that. So long story short. You get what you pay for I guess.

Nasty and dirty and unsafe

Posted May 9, 2017
The staff loudly announced our room number and location of our room which was in the backnof the hotel. We were uncomfortable from that point on. The room was dirty. There were holes in the bedsheets and we didn't get a comforter. The bathroom had hair everywhere. Very unclean. The doors to enter the hotel were not locked or secured. We didn't feel safe.

WORST HOTEL EVER

Posted May 1, 2017
Pros: nothing.
Cons: everything
Location: ghetto. I would like my money back.
Your advertisements were a complete lie. Our room didn't even have a blanket on it....our neighbors were so loud and partied until 2 am with literally clouds of smoke in the hallways from smoking. Nothing was done with me calling and complaining multiple times. Worst bed EVER! So hard and uncomfortable with flat pillows. I was disappointed and got literally no sleep. I may as well have slept in my car.

For the price the hotel was pretty good. It was clean and quiet. The bed was horribly uncomfortable though, but I only had to stay one night.

Great room for the price

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Upon checkin, Ron immediately offered to upgrade our room to a kingsize bed. The room was comfortable and clean and well worth the price we paid. I purchased three rooms for myself and my friends, and we were all pleased with the accommodations..
