After checking in we went to our room. Upon inspection, we found a pair of dirty underwear (not ours) hanging from the shower rod. Obviously, the housekeeping staff did not do a good job cleaning. I called the front desk and the gentleman who answered the phone said he would get someone up there right away. We waited over an hour, no one showed. I called again, same guy said someone would be up shortly. A housekeeping staff member showed up but didn't know why she was there. We showed her and she took care of it and brought us more towels as the underwear had dripped on the bath towel. The male front desk worker told me to come to the front desk to see if there was anything they could do for me. I was then helped by a woman. She was on the phone and helping me at the same time. The only thing she offered was to sign me up for some program and give me points towards another stay. We don't travel often and I am not happy with the result but I did not feel like I had a choice in the matter. We paid a lot for a room that had not been cleaned properly. We also were charged for self parking when we told the front desk that we were not parking our vehicle there. I did not realize we were charged until after we got back from vacation. Extremely disappointed and will not be back.
