It was an okay hotel.

It was an okay hotel. It could have been better. There was a pungent smell upon exiting the elevator to NY floor. They only had one elevator which was situated in a weird corner with a door leading into it. They said because we were there for 2nights so we won't get room service the next day.

Pros: Inexpensive, quiet and a comfortable bed.
Cons: No guest printer available for printing boarding passes.
Location: There is a shopping mall and various places to eat a few miles away.
Was a bit difficult to find. Only had 1 king bed available. Very plain looking inside and out. Is for people that need a place to stay that has a full kitchen and doesn't cost much.

the WORST hotel experience ever

Pros: The desk clerk was friendly
They overbooked and try'ed to give us a smoking room even though we checked in early and most rooms were not assigned yet. No utensils in the kitchen.,after waiting 2 hours for them to be washed we got to carry them up to the room minus pots and pans that other guests were supposed to be hoarding..No dish soap. The bed frame was broken and had ti be propped up with the phone book .Poorly cleaned bad smelling room. Air conditioner at the lowest setting barely cooled the room.TV remote would not change channels most of the time ,(no replacements available) Very tight parking spaces.

We stayed there for a couples night, it was cheap and close to where we were having dinner. The hotel itself looked nice from outside and in. The kitchen area was big and useful. We just had a few problems- there was no remote control in the room so we called the front the desk and he brought up one that didn't work but he went and grabbed 2 others and one of those worked. In addition, there was bunches of hair everywhere- in the blanket, shower & bathroom. We just didn't use the blanket and washed the shower out before using it. Overall it wasn't that clean but with the cheap price it was an okay stay.

Cheap

Pros: cheap and cleanish
Cons: Inform guests that this is a smoking allowed facility and that it smells like it. Or remove the smells.
Location: The Pancake House in Eden Prairie is excellent.
My wife and I had hoped for a relaxing place to stay. This wasn't it. Every other guest we saw entered the building with beer, brandy, or some other kind of alcohol. Then someone was knocking on our door at about midnight. Twice. I did not open the door. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. I don't know what chemical smell was in the room, but at least it wasn't cigarettes. There was a cold breeze coming in from the window, but at least the heater was able to keep the room warm. Our reservation site listed the complementary use of a nearby exercise facility. The staff said that was not true. Other than the smell, the room appeared to be clean. Between the smells and the company, I cannot recommend this motel. It was cheap, but it appears that it is true that you get what you pay for.
