Front desk staff friendly. Hotel is just average and very dated. I thought when I booked a Marriott hotel, it would be better than average.

Bus drivers constantly blocking Handicap parking slots.
The facility is run down. Exterior falling apart. Pool was gross. Elevators were trashed. Chairs in dining area wobbly and loose, tables shook. Food was not good. Front desk staff were worthless and could even make suggestions for food in the area. There was 2 ladies working breakfast on Friday morning that were great other than that no one there was helpful.
Our Friday night flight was cancelled so we chose the Fairfield because it was close to the airport. They had a special displaced traveler room rate. The front desk staff was polite and kind. Check out being at noon was very nice too ! Great continental breakfast (no meat options) with the sweetest staff. So many delicious food options around the hotel and the Mall of America is within walking distance! Only bummer was hearing the planes overhead first thing in the morning!
The stay was good as it was an overnight before flying out the next day.the shuttle is great, although I think it should be better explained through Expedia that the $3/day parking rate is not for extended parking unless you are staying at the hotel, not park and fly If you hoped to leave your car while out of town the rate is much higher.
Close to the Mall of America. The shuttle services are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is close to the airport. So you can hear the airplane. But it doesn’t bother us much. We had a good time.
I booked what a thought was a hotel where I could park and fly, but was told there was no room for me to park there when we arrived. Not a great start to our vacation.
Unclear parking fee’s said 3$ a day and then said it was going to be 100$ 😑
Great breakfast and staff setting it up was very, very nice.

Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Pool was in ok condition. Hot tub was small and always full, didn’t get an opportunity to try it. Overall would recommend this hotel.
Brenda was a super driver. I used to drive and she is one of the best. And i forgot the other driver's name but he was nice also.
All other employees were also very nice.
The lady behind the counter ad no personality at!
During check-in the lady asked if we parked in the parking lot.
I politely said we did with a smile.
She told us they charge $3.00 a day for parking in their lot.
I have never heard of a motel charging to park in their parking lot.
Do they think people who are traveling - are walking or some other form of transportation?
The $3.00 isn't a big deal - it's the principle of charging the guests to park in their ot.
We will never again stay in this motel chain!
Hotel was nice & clean. We were given a handicap room which I don’t prefer but it must be all they had left. The room itself had a nasty smell to it but the rest of the hotel was fine.
