UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! The place is a mess they are under construction and walls aren’t finished there are furniture sitting in the halls leaves you like a 2 foot pass way. It’s dirty from the construction. The room was almost finished the outlets didn’t have covers the floor seemed to have not been cleaned. The beds were ok. Honestly if they are under construction they should just close for some time and finish things the right way. Very disappointing hotel

Staff was very nice but property was going through renovations and it was a mess. Highway outside is also very loud.
It was a good stay. However it was under a reconstruction that we weren't aware of and was a bit dirty. Breakfast wasn't the best, mostly things you can buy at Wal-Mart and warm in the microwave.

This hotel was under serious renovations and so many things were not as they should be. There was a lot of sound in the day as well so couldn't work in the lobby. But the worst part was the hotel employee called the day before and asked me to CANCEL because of the renovations. Our whole team was booked there so I didn't want to cancel but really wish I had. He did say he would give me the same low rate and put me in Hampton Inn right nearby. Wish I had done that in retrospect. This is NOT UP TO THE MARRIOTT NAME OR STANDARD OF HOTEL. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BRAND AND WILL NOT STAY IN A FAIRFIELD INN AGAIN!
Pool was too small, not enough of seating in pool area, not enough towels in the pool area, not enough seating for breakfast, rooms weren't very clean, hotel was very loud, and the breakfast options were limited

Great front desk assistance as they just work there they are nit incharhe of the hotel up keep. The room is very out dated and there was a patch in the wall by the door of room 105 where we stayed. It didnt look to be repaired very professional. The toilet didnt work at times. You needed to jiggle the handle in order for the tank to refill on water.The parking lot door doesnt lock. The ice machine has a constant pudle coving the entire walk way and the carpet is soaked. It would have been better for my family and I to stay somewhere else. We will never return.

Overall nice hotel, standard overall. Would stay here again, it is close to the zoo and not far from outlet shopping (about 10min drive).

I am also sorry to hear that your room did not keep the outside noise out as well as you wanted. We are having renovations done in the near future. There was a basketball tournament in Savage. Our whole team of 6th-grade boys and parents chose this hotel, partly for the use of the pool. We returned to the hotel after the first day of the tournament and discovered a horrible smell in the pool. Everyone in it began coughing and developing a rash. I made everyone clear the pool area. Upon our insistence, the pool was tested and showed high levels of acid. The pool was closed for the evening and reopened in the morning, but was soon closed again for the levels of chlorine being off. Very disappointing for all the students staying at the hotel, our team, and the other districts there for area events.

The property is not your usual clean and nice Marriott. There was mold in the shower on ceiling and the hot tub was out of order. We had to change rooms because the TV didn’t work. The only part of our experience that was good was Monty in the kitchen. This hotel was very discouraging and I will always look into reviews before booking now.

We were on the first floor and had to call front desk 2 times first night because there were boys that were making so much noise that my grandchildren couldn’t fall asleep staff went to talk to them but continued for quite awhile before finally stopped, same thing 2nd night except that my grandchildren were sleeping and were awakened by noise. Would have been nice to have been told that not all rooms have microwaves and that they didn’t do housekeeping every day at check in. The pool was nice and breakfast was very good.
