Electrical power in room was deficient; only lights and outlets were working in bathroom. Unsafe; Electrical GFI for room was tripped and could not be reset. Remedy took some time; ultimately had to move to another room late into the evening.

Too far than what I had expected. Breakfast was terrible. The waffle maker is unusable. Our bedroom was nice and spacious. Overall it was ok, we had a good sleep.

The owners did the minimum to make this property appear presentable. The outside looks decent but the interior isn't. Lots of original furniture and fixtures, particularly in the bathroom. Our room had an unpleasant odor...perhaps mold. The old mini fridge has a freezer with 3 inches of ice built up all around it. Half the electricity in our room went out. I reported it to the front desk and was told to reset the GFCI on a particular outlet. It worked, but clearly means they're aware of electrical issues and aren't resolving them. Also no entry from anywhere but the front doors. You might save a few bucks, but I do not recommend putting your family in this facility. It's potentially unsafe.

The Expedia listing for this place needs to change. It said fridge and microwave there is neither. it says fitness center it's a couple bikes and treadmills. The breakfast was waffles, cereal and English muffins. I have a queen bed at home and felt cramped in this queen bed, don't think it's a queen! My room was a little dirty the mirror is disgusting, there are broken card swipes to enter the building. We were looking for a nice quaint little getaway during a work event in the cities. This showed good reviews and amenities when I looked. I will never be back here again and we hotel often. I should have paid the extra money for a name brand hotel like Holiday in or Marriot but being it was kind of a staycation decided here, won't make that mistake again. Also noticed they don't respond to the negative reviews only ones that make them look good, should maybe reach out to the upset people too cause they are the ones who tell people to or not to stay at your hotel.

I was put in a room that had an adjoining room wherein the door to the adjoining room would not lock. I was given another room, and upon entering that room, it was freezing cold in the room, I went to the front desk and told them I wanted to cancel my reservation because of the conditions. No apology was given and I was told I would have to call Expedia for that. Expedia advised me they would email me their response in 3 business days. No guarantees of a refund. Never again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and things were clean and efficient. Need a few things fixed like a tile just before carpet to the first floor rooms to 109-110 rooms, the faucet and pipes were loose and moving around in the shower in 110 and the bottom corner by the tub under the towel rack needs some work and the towel rack was loose and bent down like some one had hung on it or something .

Clean & quiet basic stay
The property does not pretend to be a luxury hotel. But it was clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. I don't need anything more, and would certainly stay here again if traveling this way.

Great Renovation
Hotel has been completely renovated and they did a great job. Only negative is that the new toilet tank refilled every 15 minutes. I changed room and the same problem in new room. I suspect some of the new toilets were not installed correctly. But the newness and cleanliness were great!

My boyfriend left his wallet at the front desk by accident and someone stole money out of it. Employee at the time it happened told us cameras in the lobby didn't work due to the building being struck by lighting in July 2023. Checked with a different employee the next day and she said they work and would have the manager look through to see the footage to see who stole the money. No manager has contacted us and it has now been almost 4 days since the incident. Extremely disappointed with the service on this matter. Room was okay otherwise.
