Rundown Terrible Dirty Never again.

Cons: COMPLETE REMODEL, REMOVE THE SMELL, OFFER FREE BREAKFAST, AND CHARGE WHAT YOU SAY THE COST IS NOT OVER,
Location: Not much need to get on freeway for larger attractions.
Nothing good to say. From the main lobby to the room - Worn out run down furniture no cushion exterior worn off. all veneers (vanity, furniture , bed) and wall paper stained, torn and peeling. Carpet discustingley stained and old. Bed old and mattress worn. Sheets stained, don't think they had been change. EVERYTHING DATED AND GRUNCHY. No conviences such as micro wave ,wireless charging stations. Breakfast on site looked free. It was not. Minimum breakfast cost for 2 $26.00. There is a guideline for water temperatures/ the hot water was far hotter than it should have been, and dangerous. Despite the hotel not being full we were given a room that the bed headboards were against the housekeeping room. The noise was intrusive. ****ABOVE ALL WAS THE ODOR****. I BELIEVE IT WAS SO STRONG TO COVER UP OTHER ODORS. From the time I walked in the lobby the very strong "air freshener" or whatever smell gave me a headache. I am allergic to perfumes and chemical smells. This is a problem with MANY people. I work in a multi billion dollar company and the have a NO PERFUME, NO SMELLING LOTIONS, HAIR PRODUCTS OR LAUNDRY PRODUCTS. My symptoms can range to immediate headache to my throat closing. I have stayed at many Carlson hotels. Example Fargo ND where there staff, service, free breakfast, decor is above all. And no smelly "freshener" smells. ##also the cost when I reserved the room was $80 total of a little over $90. My account was charged over $147.

It was just a one night stay. It was fine. The room was the perfect size for two and the coffee was much needed and appreciated.

Park & Fly

Pros: Location, cleanliness and friendly staff.
Location: We use this motel for Twins and Vikings games. Take a shuttle to the Mall of America and take the tram downtown.
As usual, the Park Plaza was awesome. This was for a park & fly for our trip to Mexico. Both shuttle drivers were great! Very friendly and went above and beyond for us. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Good hot tub and pool area.
Cons: Rooms are quite warm even with ac on.
Location: Great location. Close to restaurants and shopping.
It was okay, price was right and it was very comfortable.

Good value near everything

Clean room with small refrigerator. Carpet in room was old and worn. Needs replacing but good value with comfortable bed, nice desk and large tv with great channel selection

Good location to area attractions

Pros: Location
Cons: The staff could be a little more customer friendly.
Location: Mall of America, Southdale, The Galleria, lots of restaurants, easy access to downtown St Paul and Minneapolis including Twins/Vikings venues
When we checked in, we were given a room that had not been cleaned so had to move to another room. New room was clean and comfortable. Hotel advertises microwaves but discovered that there is just a microwave down by the vending machines on first floor. None are in the rooms. The pool area was clean and well cared for. The staff did their jobs but were not overly friendly. My child left behind a beloved stuffed animal and it took several phone calls to get anyone to even look for it. It was not a bad hotel to stay in, especially for the price, but it certainly doesn't stand out as anything special.

Wasnt to happy when i checked out. I had a total of 306.00$on hold on my credit card then was charged a 216.66$ when i checked out. Still cant get ahold of someone to figure out the problem. Was not happy tp be chatged twice for 3 nights. Then they said the total of 306$ came from the deposit of 50$. Well the math wasnt done right.. It should have been 266$ the 306$ is a 90$ difference...
