UnsatisfiedPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Very pleasant staff.
Cons: enforce noise curfew.
Location: Had a great Chinese restaurant nearby. They have the Burnsville Mall, they're close to Valley Fair, Reniassance Festival.
We were kept up all night on our first night there, by a party going on in the next room. Staff was very pleasant about trying to get them to settle down, but did not stop until 5 am. I feel they should have either moved them or kicked them out. The same party of people woke me up the 2nd night there at 5:50 am and did not stop until 6:30-6:45. I feel that if you are going to have someone that stays on a frequent bases they should be put at the farthest end of the hotel complex so they do not disturb other guests.

surprisingly nice for a 2-starPosted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: minutes from the Mall of America and the Minnesota Zoo, there is a Walmart around the corner, very clean and comfortable
Cons: more of a breakfast selection (cereal, waffles, yogurt, fruit)
Location: close to MOA, MN Zoo, Hyland Lake Park which is a must-do humongous playground if you have kids, The Works Children's Museum in Bloomington
I was extremely impressed with this motel, for it being a no-name 2-star. It was very well-maintained in all areas--rooms, lobby, pool area, hallways, outside. They were currently in the process of removing all the tube tvs and putting in huge flatscreens as big as a bed (attached to the wall for safety and height.) The beds were very soft and comfortable. We never heard a noise from outside the room while we were in our room (no water running, noisy neighbors, traffic). We stayed Saturday through Monday and the motel must've been pretty full Saturday because the pool and hot tub were full but the pool is certainly big enough for weekday stays. There was a fridge (no freezer compartment) and microwave and also a hair dryer in the room even though the info for the motel says they don't. There are 2 levels but no elevator. They have coffee and hot chocolate at all times but for breakfast, the only choice is doughnuts. They have a couple vending machines which include 2% milk, other drinks, and snacks. The staff was always helpful and friendly.

Bad First ImpressionPosted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: The mattresses were good and seemed quite new and 55 inch tv was the saving grace.
Cons: Both bedspreads had holes and looked quite worn. The blankets had burn holes, one was so worn it felt more like a sticky sponge. We took it off.
As we pulled into the parking lot, we saw a group of men mulling around a truck. We wondered what was going on and weren't sure we should go in to register. They disapated shortly and we never saw it again, but early on our second morning, as I waited for my son to pick me up, I saw 2 sleazily dressed women leaving the Inn. One in high heels with butt cheeks hanging out of her shorts, the other in a tattered style shirt barely covering herself. Again I wondered what kind of place this was.

Not recommendedPosted Aug 23, 2015
First impression was horrible, the lobby was filthy debris all over the floor carpets stained and even the walls and ceilings were stained and filthy. The front desk was in disarray looked like a messy home office and the staff behind the desk were not professionally dressed. The hotel was musty they had old dehumidifiers in the halls. The rooms were very dated with several patches on the walls, rusty light fixtures in the bathroom and the shower head looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I would not recommend this hotel.

Inexpensive place to stay.Posted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: inexpensive stop on our trip
Cons: They need to add to their breakfast, maybe add some cereal and toast or bagels.
The hotel was clean and nice. I was very disappointed in their breakfast. It was only donuts and coffee and hot chocolate.

Cons: The hotel could use an overhaul to be updated. The air conditioning unit had a air freshener hanging on it to hide the "funk" of the room.
I was not impressed with this hotel. The front desk staff was not impressive. The hotel needs updating. The carpet was dingy and there were dehumidifiers lined up and running in the lobby area and hallways. My daughter refused to use the pool and said it appeared to be "shady". The pictures that Expedia has listed are not a true representation, I wish I would have taken pictures.

Ok for sleepingPosted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Our room was quiet.
Cons: The rooms smell, more pillows on the beds and enough towels for how many the rooms sleeps. A better breakfast.
Location: We stayed here as it was close to Valleyfair.
Booked it as it was close to an amusement park, and cheap. Well cheap means old and run down. Only 2 pillows on each bed, and the room sleeps 4 but we only got 3 bath towels. And the room smelled really bad ~ musty smell. Booked online, said free breakfast. Breakfast was only coffee and donuts. Not impressed with that at all. I would recommend if someone wanted just a clean bed to sleep in, but if you are looking for nice, new, and updated.. find another hotel.
