Should validate parking for hotel guests or build it into room price.

Great room, great staff, overall great experience

Posted Mar 31, 2017
Location: I did not get a chance to step out at night but this hotel is around the corner from the theater district.
This was my first time to Minneapolis and the staff sure were Minnesota nice! From the minute I walked in, everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, spacious and looked like it had been recently updated - modern and fresh. I did quite of bit of work every evening and the desk set-up was well-lit and comfortable. Internet was included with the room and speeds were very good, which is not the case in all hotels. The Concierge Lounge on the Club level was well-stocked and also comfortable for working. The staff in the Concierge Lounge were the absolute best! The hotel is located only a few blocks away from the Rapid Transit line which is a direct shot to the airport. I would recommend highly for any busy traveler.

Short sweet stay!

Posted Mar 29, 2017
Pros: Location and modern style.
Cons: It was all good.
Location: Lots and lots of eating places and shows.
The hotel was easy to find and get to. Parking was a trick, the spaces are very very compact so if you are driving a large vehicle, good luck. The hotel workers were pleasant and professional. They went over and above to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The first night we had one problem, the neighbors were unruly, loud and banging on the walls. A call to the front desk and security was there in minutes. The next day, we were given an upgraded room and it was quiet and peaceful. The walkways were very nice as they connect so many things, however the abandoned Macy's store was like something out of a zombie apocalypse movie, so many of the businesses were closed that it seemed almost eerie to be walking there with no other people in sight. Overall, a great 3 days in Minneapolis and we would definitely return and do even more exploring.

I am glad that your noise issue was swiftly dealt with and I apologize for this disturbance. Renovation will soon begin on the Macy's building and we are all looking forward to the new businesses that will be settling in there. We thank you for your business and look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Great location but noisey

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Stayed here because I had a meeting in the morning at a near by hotel. My husband and I made a weekend of it. The hotel was very noisey at night. You could hear people in the halls and adjoining room. You can definitely hear the road noise from inside your room. Parking garage stalls are tight and spots are limited. But garage felt secure. Great location for an event at the target center but not great for a get away.

Dear Tina, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the noise concerns you shared. Here at the hotel, half of our rooms have an internal atrium view, and very little noise from outside the hotel reaches these rooms. Many of our business travelers prefer these quieter rooms. Upon your next check-in, please let our front desk team know that you prefer an internal room, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. I am sorry to hear that you found the garage spots to be tight. Unfortunately, the garage is public and not owned or operated by the hotel. I hope we will have the opportunity to serve you again the next time you are in Minneapolis!

Great location for Target Center

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Hotel staff very nice. Great downtown location. Nice workout facilities. Clean rooms with refrigerator. Down side: for a large higher quality hotel you have to rent a microwave and get charged 13% tax as well. And the microwave is nothing to get excited about.

Dear John, Thank you for your review. I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay! I will discuss your microwave comments with our team to determine how we can improve. Thank you for your valuable feedback and I hope we will see you again the next time your travels bring you to the area.

Terrible night

Posted Mar 19, 2017
First we get there and there are really long lines, as the internet was down. The front desk manager told us that when the computers came back online he would upgrade us to business class. As he was checking us in the associate next to him just went ahead and upgraded some on even though the computers were down. Only one pair of slippers and one robe were in our room for two guest's. The bed was comfortable but we had a street facing room and there was a lot of activity on the street, with people and sirens. I was uncomfortably loud and neither of us got a good nights sleep. Plus the other guests who were there being really loud around 3 am as the returned from a night on the town. All in all it was not a good experience.

Dear Ken, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay. I am terribly sorry to hear that your experience was less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, the city of Minneapolis experienced a loss of internet service when a main cable was accidentally cut by the service provider. The hotel was included in this city-wide outage and I apologize for the inconvenience this caused you. I apologize for the noise issues you experienced. We have a two strike rule for guests who violate our disturbance policy and we know that it is our responsibility to ensure that each guest has the right to a good night’s sleep. I regret when reported that we did not take quicker action to rectify the situation. I will ensure that I utilize your correspondence to review our current policies again with our staff to improve in the future. Here at the hotel, half of the rooms have a street-facing room and the other half an internal atrium view. The internal rooms are quieter as very little noise from outside the hotel can reach them. If you request an internal room upon check-in, our front desk team will do their very best to accommodate your request. Your feedback is valuable and we will utilize your comments to improve our operations. I hope you will give us a second chance to exceed your expectations the next time you are in Minneapolis.
