The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the night team and day staff were able to provide good suggestions for food and places to see. The room was comfortable and clean but worn. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Overall the visit was a plus.

Decent hotel
Upon checkin the receptionist was outstanding, friendly and helpful. The next couple of days staying there I had a receptionist who was extremely rude, if I had met them the first night I can't say I would've been very hopeful staying there. He was by far the rudest receptionist I have ever encountered. The room itself was good and I can't complain there.

The historic setting of this location makes for a great entry point to staying in the Mill District of Minneapolis. The hotel has displays showcasing many historic artifacts of the Milwaukee Road. Breakfast options were plentiful, even for the members of our group with selective diets. We have stayed here multiple visits to Minneapolis and plan on staying here again in the future.
