Hotel very clean
The room was very clean and spacious, only problem was the bed and pillows. The pillows go flat when you lay on it, and the bed was very hard, couldn't wait to get back home to my own bed.

Great North Loop location. Our room had a full-size fridge, stovetop and dishwasher. So convenient to walk to Milwaukee Road restaurant and bar. Front desk staff was so helpful.

Worked great for our weekend in Minneapolis. Easy parking. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Rooms are showing some wear, but the room was clean and comfortable -- except for the sofa, which does need replacing. Great breakfast!

Wonderful stay with our great granddaughter for the weekend and Aquatennial fireworks. Room worked great. Checkin was quick and easy. Breakfast was ok…typical scrambled eggs, etc. Nothing special. No USB ports in the room.

The woman who checked us in was a little dry and not friendly. When I asked how much a small bottle of Aquafina water was, and she said $3, I said ok, and walked away and she gave a big "huff". Past that the rest of the desk staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Rooms need minor maintenance (garbage disposal didn't work, refrigerator looked like some had hit it a number of times with a hammer, no usb charging ports only 110 outlets around the room). Was quiet for the most part. Breakfast was decent. Was a typical middle of the road type of hotel, not fancy, but not horrible.

Trip to watch college baseball at US Bank Stadium
I would 100% recommend this hotel! It was within walking distance (4-5 blocks) from US Bank Stadium and the light rail train. Breakfast was incredible! Parking is pay parking but is on-site and either indoor or outdoor.

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the night team and day staff were able to provide good suggestions for food and places to see. The room was comfortable and clean but worn. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Overall the visit was a plus.

Decent hotel
Upon checkin the receptionist was outstanding, friendly and helpful. The next couple of days staying there I had a receptionist who was extremely rude, if I had met them the first night I can't say I would've been very hopeful staying there. He was by far the rudest receptionist I have ever encountered. The room itself was good and I can't complain there.

The historic setting of this location makes for a great entry point to staying in the Mill District of Minneapolis. The hotel has displays showcasing many historic artifacts of the Milwaukee Road. Breakfast options were plentiful, even for the members of our group with selective diets. We have stayed here multiple visits to Minneapolis and plan on staying here again in the future.

only one cart for hauling suitcases to rooms, had to carry down our bags to our car. Suggest having two carts available. other than that we love this place, the rooms make you feel like at home, and very cozy : )
