The Grand Hotel is Top Notch

Posted May 17, 2016
Pros: It's located in the heart of downtown and has access to the skyway
Location: There's Nicollet Mall a few blocks up and lifetime fitness downstairs of the hotel is a complete gym
The woman who greeted me at the counter was friendly as welcoming. In a few quick minutes I was up in my room. The Grand hotel is simply the best place to stay in downtown Minneapolis.

老舗ホテルをリニューアル

Posted May 7, 2016 on Hotels
ミネアポリスは老舗のホテルをリニューアルした施設が結構あるのですか、ここもそのひとつ。ドアマンが立っているホテルなんて滅多に泊まる機会が無かったので、ちょっとセレブな気分が味わえました。

Friendly staff, over described rooms

Posted May 4, 2016
Pros: The staff always greet you with a smile and enthusiasm.
Cons: The gym needs to be available in the evening on Saturday and Sunday nights. The wine hour should be a wine two hours if work runs over.
Location: Centrally located. Within a mile (nice walk) there is the greenway, the mill park, and the stadiums.
The staff was always friendly even when they could not be helpful. That is a very important characteristic of the hotel. People are nice and engaged. The hotel, overall, though, is not a luxury hotel and is really an updated athletic club. This means that hallways meander, rooms are odd shapes and sizes, and windows that let light through are limited. Some rooms look out onto an atrium or the side of a building. The gym is an absolutely amazing facility, but is not open with any reasonable hours on weekends and it does not have a hot tub/Jacuzzi. If you are visiting fro work and need a solid place to stay and exercise, this is an excellent choice in Minneapolis. If you are looking for a luxury hotel focused on accommodating guest needs, the facility is not able to meet this expectation. It is very comfortable in an ascetic way.
