Just a place to stayPosted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: nothing special or exclusive to say about
Cons: Shower cabin is extra small. Cannot imagine how people with additional weight can take a shower in it. Bad smell in bathroom. Poor breakfasts.
Location: 200 meters and you are near sea. 1300 stairs up - and you are in Ravello. 15 min by bus - and you are in Amalfi
Friendly staff. Nice blue room. Bit noisy because of the road but good view from the window. very loud ventilation in bathroom. Separate thanks to Gaetano for bieng so friendly!

A little gemPosted May 14, 2013 on Hotels
Really enjoyed staying here in this smaller and less touristy town than some along the coast. Hotel was well located very close to bus stops and was so comfortable. Lovely, helpful owner and nice breakfast. Especially appreciated the small washing line on the balcony. Minori has the best cake shop on the Amalfi Coast!
Perfect for Family wedding visitPosted Oct 9, 2012 on Hotels
Our whole family stayed in several rooms for almost a week and we just fell in love with this family owned and operated hotel. Very conveniently located, reasonably priced with top notch customer service given by Antonio, his son Raphael, and Gaetano. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Minori, or even the surrounding areas to use as a home base.

HotelPosted Jun 26, 2012
Cons: Bed very comfortable and the staff very helpful
Location: On a bend on a busy road
Owner and staff lovely people. Bathroom could do with an update otherwise everything else fine. If you have problems with stairs this is not the place for you, also the traffic noise is quite loud but I suspect this is the same in lots of places in minori.

Good hotel in MinoriPosted Jun 14, 2012
Pros: Antonio, the owner, was very helpful and spoke English.
Cons: The toilet ran in our room.
Location: Minori is a nice town with a working-class flavor of Italy. The bus stop is across the street from the hotel. Good restaurants in Minori.
We tried to experience both worlds of the Amalfi Coast, staying at the Grand Vesuvius Hotel in Sorrento with 90 rooms/floor and at the Maison Rafael in Minori with a total of ten rooms. Minori is a blue collar town--kids going to school, laundry hanging from the porches... Antonio the owner of the Maison Raphael speaks great English and he has a sense of humor. He gave us good suggestions to places to eat and where to catch the bus, etc. He runs a clean hotel (although the toilet did run all night), but it is a clean room with balconies overlooking the street. After driving the Amalfi coast, I gladly parked the car and took the bus to get to the town of Amalfi. Antonio has a gated parking lot for guests, but the charge is 17.50 Euro per day for parking. There is a bus stop within sight of the hotel, so we caught the bus to the city of Amalfi to catch the boat to the Isle of Capri. The town of Minori has some good restaurants and it is worth exploring the back alleys of the town--we ran into a music school with an operatic soprano singing at one end with accordian music from the other end. Nice town, nice hotel.

Wonderful stay at Maison Raphael!Posted May 19, 2012
Pros: Very good customer service
Location: Convenient location for SITA bus, very good restaurants a few minutes from hotel
My husband and I stayed at Maison Raphael for three nights the beginning of May 2012. It is a great value with very good customer service. The SITA bus stop is right around the corner and we liked the town of Minori. I recommend taking the walk up the stairs to Ravello. The beginning is next to the hotel. It is a great workout with stunning views. We also walked along the coast to the town of Amalfi. That took only 45 minutes.

Hotel direkt an der AmalfitanaPosted Sep 16, 2011 on Hotels
