The staff is very kind, courteous and friendly. Check in was quick and informative. My stay was for R&R, along with the amenities offered at Candlewood shopping and dining is a quick drive. Looking forward to my next stay at Candlewood Minot.

Worn out beds, huge divots and dips. worn out recliner chair, it had lost all its faux leather cover down to the cotton. Carpet looked like it came out of a machanics garage.

I enjoy staying at Candlewood for the staff and attention to the guest. Shopping is a short drive away and plenty of dining to chose. Looking forward to my next stay.

Came from out of town for the State Fair
Ordered 1 king size bed/room. Walked in and had 2 full size beds instead. No big deal. But when we took off our shoes we noticed the carpet was recently cleaned. Still wet and didn’t dry when left the following day.

Worst hotel ever
It was a bad experience. I stayed 9 days. No housekeeping the entire time. Garbage was piled up. Was told I had to clean and put it outside my door. No linen change. Ran out of body wash and no one at the desk from 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm even though I called numerous times and even went to the desk personally. No one there. Will never stay there again

I enjoyed my stay at Candlewood. The staff was very inviting and helpful when I needed amenities. The room and guest areas were very clean and inviting. Shopping and dining is easily accessible with a short drive. Looking forward to my next stay.

This hotel was clean and the bathrooms, showers, and bed were in good shape. The chairs need replacement mine had several holes in it and my couch also had holes. I was surprised they had no breakfast

Room was extremely run down - I’ve attached a photo. She said it’s because we had a pet with us. I advised her that we have stayed in candlewood before on our trip across the country and no other room was like this. She said nothing she could do. Won’t stay here- run down hotel

There was the typical trashy hotel issues - unclean room with dirt/hair/etc. everywhere and the recliner in the room had the vinyl completely torn off it. Staff was slow and incompetent. But the biggest issue was I booked a "suite that sleeps 5" and they gave us a two queen room. The bumbling semi-incoherent front desk person kept defiantly stating that they could call that a "sleeps 5" room and that we were simply supposed to have 3 people sleep in one of the queen beds. I've traveled extensively for two decades and while I've stayed in some trashy hotels before, I've never had one simply outright lie about their rooms like this.

Bree was AWESOME! She bent over backwards for everything and anything anyone needed with a huge smile. The gentleman working dayshift and the gentleman also working eventually my shift were AWESOME!!! The manager was nice but definitely looked out for the others working. Will stay at this hotel again in near future.

Cleaning is not a priority
Bed was clean but the floor clearly hadn’t been vacuumed for a longtime, debris/dirt along all walls and tile floor. Room smelled funky like someone squated there and never bathed or washed their clothes. First two towels I opened had what looked like dried blood in them. Caught a funky smell in the kitchen and the dishwasher was full of dishes that absolutely stunk horrible even though it said they were clean? Cut power to your fridge, let it sit for a few weeks and that’s what it smelled like. Front desk was nice but overall not impressed at all. There’s better hotels in this price range.

I have stayed at several hotels in minot, and this hotel is by far the best in quality in all areas! The staff were very helpful and professional. The cleanliness of the hotel was top!!! The rooms were very clean and the linens including the bath towels were excellent quality. I highly recommend this hotel!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Perfect for family!
A group of our family members stayed here for a funeral. Super nice rooms large enough to accommodate visiting and the kitchenettes were perfect for serving. Patio in back was great for getting together too. Only complaint wasn’t related to hotel itself, but someone put dirty baby diapers out in the hall. Come on, people. Clean up your own mess, disgusting!

I would 100% stay here again. Check in / out was very easy and nice transaction. Room was very big and clean. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was the pillows. I will bring my own next time! Great stay!

We happened into town during homecoming weekend. I had just had surgery and very travel worn. They found us a nice room when everyone turned us away and it waa handicapped accessible
