I arrived about ten thirty and my reservation had been cancelled because the credit card was not honored. Apparently this was the Expedia card It was finally cleared up and I got to bed well after midnight. Should I use Expedia again. ???

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. On occasion when you book through a third party, they use a virtual credit card that, by the time you arrive, has been used many times. This can cause a miscommunication between their system and ours. We are sorry for the inconvenience you experienced but are glad it was taken care off. Terrible

Pros: Pleasant staff
Cons: Needs upgrading.
We checked out and took the loss on the prepayment. They claimed the rooms were all non smoking, but mine smelled like smoke, which was not hidden by the perfumed scent they tried to cover it with. The staff was pleasant when I asked to change to another room. Unfortunately...that one also smelled like smoke. I travel a lot. I'll put up with a lot. This was beyond my endurance.

Our motel is 100% non smoking but on occasion people due break the rules. We clean the rooms thoroughly and if the smell lingers we do air them out. We may not have caught the ones you were in and we apologize for that and hope that you will stay with us on another trip through Minot in order to let us show you the great experience we strive for with all of our guest.

The night staff was very unfriendly and hardly spoke to me!! And there was notice for the breakfast, but the room was clean:)

Good place to stay for work

Spend two nights for work. Good place. Room had microwave and fridge, TV and internet. Everything you need for good stay.

Horrible!!

Staff was rude. Don't even try to ask for an extra towel. They are definitely not a place I will ever stay again. Oh and the hotel rooms look nothing like the pics online

Ok but time for a Reno

Pros: Offered a clean but "previously well used" room. The mattress was comfortable and afforded a good sleep
Cons: Time to completely renovate this property. It is well cleaned but well past its normal useful life.
This is a decent property but it is getting quit old. It was nonsmoking but the cigarette burns on the bathroom vanity and rub are probably from a long by gone era. The furniture and bedspread were old and well used. Strangely the curtain did not completely cover the window so privacy was an issue. The breakfast bar was offered, but it was just off the lobby so there were no tables, only the lobby chairs to sit in while you ate.

Adequate for stay

Clean, nice size room, small bathroom, thin towels. Had frig, microwave, coffeemaker, hair dryer, bed was comfy, good shower pressure. Breakfast 2 cereals, some fruit, boiled eggs, bread, coffee. Had Internet problems. Could hear walking around above our room and one night there was a lot. Could hear voices in hall and outside but stopped at night. A/C was loud.

Mediocre hotel.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Location with respect to its parking lot.
Location: Norskhost fest was the reason for the visit and it was good.
Hotel was selected because of the lowest price on one of the online web sites. This fiasco turned me off on the entire hotel experience. Made reservations on three web sites and could only cancel one. I still have pending charges that haven't been refunded.
