Quaint, Clean, Well Maintained Miraflores Hotel.

Recently stayed at the Miraflores Hotel in Peru for three days. Quite close to the Jorge Chavez International Airport. I arrived at 1:00am and was greeted by their absolutely friendly front desk. The room which I reserved was ready, cleaned, and neatly put together. The on-site restaurant has a decent selection of breakfast items (of which was complimentary). Overall it was a pleasure being a guest at the Miraflores Hotel (September 6th - September 9th, 2017).

Hotel with character.

Cons: The rooms were dated and require some iograding. Very noisy exhaust fans in bathrooms.
Location: In Miraflores - a safe area close to the coast walkway and good restaurants and cafes.
Nice old decor, arefacts. Lovely Peruvian food in restaurant, good breakfast included. Great pisco sours. Very helpful staff.

Great location!

Walkable and safe. Clean and comfortable. There were five of us girls and we never felt unsafe. Restaurants near by and the water is not far.

Only Drawback

Pros: The ambiance of the hotel was great. Location was excellent.
Cons: Water pressure in shower
Location: We were able to walk to Kennedy park, The beach and most everywhere in Miraflores.
The ONLY drawback to the hotel was the water for the shower. It was very difficult to regulate the temperature and the water pressure was extremely low, almost nonexistent.

Helpful accommodating staff ironed out flight and travel worries for us, making our stay at this quiet and characterful hotel a real pleasure. Location is good to walk to the cliff top and Kennedy Park. Recommend.

Lima stop over

Pros: everything from the decorations, rooms, service, food and location.
Cons: obviously the hotel keeps on improving as i've notice repairs and maintenance on-going.
Location: the best restaurants and beack parks are walking distance.
Front desk staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms are spacious and cozy comfy. Breakfast is fresh. Located conveniently and easy access to the airport, beach parks and plaza.

Nice character hotel

Pros: Nice staff, unique decor and excellent pisco sours and food
Cons: Musty smell in the room. Perhaps get rid of carpet and replace with hardwood or laminate with a few bright throw rugs.
Location: Good location with lots of restaurants near by. Can walk to shopping and tours pick up at hotel. Shuttle taxi available to airport.
Check good but the room had a very musty smell. Moved to a smaller room close to the front. Immediate response from staff. Next day moved to a large room but although not as bad as first room still was smelly. Otherwise stay was great. Pleasant stay in a unique boutique hotel. Very good breakfast more than a continental. Other meals available from the expected to the unexpected. Great choices for the more adventuresome eater, well prepared. Hope they get the restaurant open to the public soon and not just for hotel guests. Carla is a good chef with lots of potential. Hope she will take the new rearurant to real notice. Best pistol sour in town! 24 varieties but we liked the original best. Highly recommended.
