Hotel under renovationPosted Dec 9, 2017
I wished I would have been informed that the hotel was under renovation. No reception area, Check-in was located on the side of the hotel in a tiny room, however the day & night receptionist were very nice and cordial, I have no complain about the personal. But the hotel looked creepy from outside & inside, with carpet covered by plastic wrap, buckets of paint and boxes all over, elevator was falling apart, even though breakfast was included, i couldn’t imagine myself sitting down in dining room in a middle of all this mess. I understand that even under renovation, you need to keep the business going, but at least inform guest before they make their booking. The room was clean and bed comfortable, but the construction noise spoiled it. I was looking forward for a relaxing 2 days stay, and maybe enjoy the swimming pool & workout room, but too much mess, I don’t even know if swimming pool & gym were operational! Disappointed

Hotel under renovations,Posted Nov 27, 2017
Pros: The staff was accommodating despite the unfortunate incident.
Cons: complete renovations quickly
Location: Hotel conveniently located nearby shopping area.
I wish I was told hotel is under renovations prior to booking. One night alarm system went off, guest had to be evacuated until fire services came and did their investigations and gave the all clear. Elevators were temporarily in operable, guest had to take the stairs. Most of the guests including myself were visibly shaken because of this experience. Management said no compensation could be given to guests who booked via third party, ie. (Expedia) which was unfortunate. I will await a response from Expedia.

Very bad servicePosted Nov 26, 2017
Cons: Staff service
Since the very beginning there was no courteous treatment and even when rooms ready, I still had to wait for hours for my room.

Hotel under RENOVATIONSPosted Nov 25, 2017
Pros: They did switch our room to a newer one
Cons: Not put people on the floors that are not renovated; dirty bathrooms and no hot water
Location: Nice outside mall within a mile with various restaurants and stores :)
Initially placed on 4th floor - non renovated room; bathroom dirty and absolutely NO hot water. Complained and asked to be switched to a room on floor 1 or 2 which was renovated. Much nicer and clean rooms also hot water. Many hotels are under renovation in Florida. I suggest you CALL ahead and ask as this one said on line it was renovated - it's not . it is in the process - RENOVATIONS are occurring. New hotel "Fairfield" about 1/2 mile from here totally done; beautiful. That would be my recommendation.

clean roomsPosted Nov 21, 2017
Pros: nice room
Cons: breakfast. very limited choices
the newly designed room was beautiful but it was on the first floor just off the lobby and by the elevator. I had requested a room on a higher floor but they said they had to give me one on the first floor. not sure why I was to exhausted to deal with them after having walked around the building trying to find the check in location, there were signs but it did not give proper directions. How was I supposed to know which door to enter through when they had brown paper and blue painter's tape on them. Confusing!! other than that the room was nice.

Didn't know about the constructionPosted Nov 15, 2017
We I booked the room, there was no mention that the hotel was undergoing heavy remodeling. The main entrance was closed and there were temporary PVC drainage pipes in the hall outside my room. The room itself was adequate, but I would have like a heads up about the construction and the reorientation of the entrance, etc.

Close to highway and a few places to eatPosted Nov 12, 2017
This place is a ripoff, they shouldn't be open. Unfinished construction all over hotel, dirty furniture in room. No signage on building so it's hard to find. For the price and reputation of the hotel chain this was a huge disappointment. Could've just slept in my car...

Lots of constructionPosted Nov 11, 2017
I only stayed one night on this trip. The hotel was very hard to find, as there were no signs in the area. Much of the building was undergoing remodeling so there were lots of plastic sheets hanging to separate the construction area. I’m sure it will be very nice when all the work is done. It seemed as if I was the only one staying there. I finally saw 3 other men in the breakfast area on the morning I left.

Won't stay againPosted Sep 24, 2017
Even thought the hotel is under construction ,I felt that I wouldn't have any problems. It was inside the room where I encounter the problems. The bath tube was stopped up, and pieces of the ceiling over the bed was falling down. Other than that the room was fine, bit I won't ever stay there again.
