Great place again as it was last time we stayed. Enjoyed the pool. TVs are great! Very accommodating room.

Fantastic! Ali was helping out from Spring Hill and she was great! Upgraded our room and brought ice in a bag for my wife! Give her a promotion!

I have stayed here before. It is a good, basic hotel. Rooms are spacious and the kitchen very functional. Close to NotreDame and shopping.

Disappointing Stay

I was in town for Notre Dame Junior Parents Weekend. When I arrived at check in they asked if a first floor room was acceptable. It was. Only after I had unpacked did I realize that they had put me in a handicapped accessible room. The problem with this was that the next morning when I went to take a shower there was no "shower', but instead a hand held spray nozzle with barely enough pressure to get the shampoo out of my hair. The large seat in the shower also made it awkward, and there was no tub, so the entire bathroom floor became flooded during the shower. The large drain in the middle of the floor smelled like sewage the entire stay, so I kept the bathroom door closed and covered the drain with a towel. After returning from the Friday night event I was looking forward to sleeping in. I was awakened at 7:30 am by a group of kids playing basketball on the court right outside of my window. At check in, the woman at the desk asked if I'd like to join their rewards club, I said yes, then she said that I was unable to since she was out of the enrollment cards. I will not be staying at this property in the future. It was a disappointment for the amount of money that I spent on a room. It seemed as though they were more interested in entertaining travel youth sporting teams than making sure that all guests were comfortable.

Dissatisfied

Pros: The lady that ran the cookie frosting thing for children was as a genuine nice person as we have ever met. To bad she was the only one. Only thing.
Cons: EVERYTHING. Let guests know to expect mass reconstruction. When you book a hotel that's supposed to have a heated indoor...how about HEATING it.
Location: Restaurants. Shopping. Notre Dame. Tubing at Wilson Park. (Winter Stay)
The only thing good about this hotel was the fact they allow dogs.

Lenghty checkin

I booked with a free night for my daughter. My email confirmation was correct, which showed payment for the tax. When my daughter arrived late, she was told that the room was not paid for. I had sent the confirmation via email to her. The front desk would not accept this. She called me and I called hotels.com. She was exhausted, but could not get into her room until I got ahold of Hotels.com and they had a lengthy harangue with the hotel. It was finally resolved, but after seeing the email or having my daughter email them so they had a record of the transaction, they should have given the room to her and not have her wait so long. She did not want me to lose my free night and pay for the room a second time.
