Good location. Nice staff members. Room needed to be cleaned a little better. Found someones hair in the bathroom floor. Other minor things but it was okay for a night stay.

We were too afraid to stay at this hotel. The noise from the rooms around us was very loud and there were people staying around us that were very suspicious and bad . They smoked and made a lot of noise. The bed was awful and make a lot of noise at any slight movement. We left for fear of having our vehicle broken into a a inability to sleep.

This was a terrific place. It was very clean and very quiet. They may as well eliminate breakfast. There is nothing there, pretty much. Coffee Bar across the street at QT is better than starbucks. A Variety of coffee and the beans are crushed per order.

The property was pretty sketch. We arrived around 6-7 and no one was there but we figured it because people are traveling and we arrive latter in the night. Upon checking in they charges a deposit; which was normal. They also charges a utility fee which i never heard of in all my time traveling. The toilet in our room was like a public restroom toilet and didnt even have a back to it. The bathroom was dirty, especially the tub. I was afraid to use the towels provided. Im pregnant and the bed was so uncomfortable! I was up all night tossing and turning. I wouldnt recommend to my family and friends driving through. Spend a little more money and stay at the hilton!

Room service Walked in my room while I had him no clothes naked in the bed they did not knock on the door front desk did nothing about it. Also breakfast was not breakfast a few cupcakes and cereal and milk. That’s all they have. The service is poor I will not get a room here ever again.

BEWARE of added FEES
When I checked in, the amount charged was higher than what I had reserved on hotels.com. ($148 v $144). I know, only $4. When I questioned the man, he said he was adding "surcharge fees" to my bill. I showed him the hotels.com reservation, and he lowered the surcharge fee to $1. I know, it's only a dollar, but what's to stop him from making it $10 or $25 next time. There won't be a next time for me. That being said, the room was clean, warm and comfortable. The shower worked, good pressure and hot water. I did not make it down for the breakfast, so can't comment on that. I have stayed at this location in the past and did not notice a "surcharge fee". Maybe it's a practice they have just recently instituted?

Our family had 3 different rooms and they were accommodating to switch one of the rooms to a bigger one for my daughter's family. Clerk on night duty really needed to be convinced to give us more than the three towels they put in each room. Breakfast was ok but very minimal.

As expected for a budget motel
Rooms perfectly adequate, desk staff very helpful. Let down by the sugar-only breakfast. Cereal, (limited) fruit and cakes are no way to start a working day. The "coffee" resembled hot brown water that saw a bean once, from the other side of a crowded room.

Expedia sold this as a bundled deal, then Expedia didn't book our plane tickets. We didn't stay here, but they have a no refund policy. We were 45 days out, and they wouldn't refund the stay or offer any alternatives like credit for staying at another hotel under the same ownership. I will be avoiding booking stays at any of the Choice Hotels brands in the future.

The guy was nice enough to let us check in early. Unfortunately the bed in this room was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. We would've been better off sleeping on the parking lot concrete! We almost left at 3am became both my husband's and my back were absolutely killing us.....

The room was sufficient and clean. We had 3 double beds. One morning the shower water was lukewarm. The other 2 mornings, the water was super hot. If twinkies and ding dongs for breakfast are your thing, this could be the place for you. They also had cereal, apples, & bananas. Overall it was an acceptable experience.

This place has seen better days. The linens and bathroom were clean, but the rest was shabby. I have never paid this much for a room (what’s with Kansas City anyway?). For $100+/night I expected better than this. Water had to run a long time to warm up and never got warmer than tepid. Breakfast included with price consisted of cold cereal, vending machine snacks, and apples/bananas. We left. There was a vintage chair with dirty upholstery in the room, which seems like an odd furnishing. The electrical outlet by the beds was taped to the wall. A Motel 6 at half the price might have been preferable. Hope I never stay in Kansas City again.

I am always impressed when hotel management takes the time to read and respond to reviews. My stay here was exactly what I wanted - excellent value, clean room, comfortable bed. It may look a tad sketchy to some, but I would absolutely stay here again. Plenty of food options nearby, QT across the street.

Our child had surgery at CMH and this property was within 15 minutes. I love that the staff showed me the room before checking in. Affordable, comfortable bed, tv worked great. Would stay again.

The fridge had three legs. Kept falling over every time it was opened. Non Smoking facility, smelled like smoke. Says no smoking within 20 feet and has smoking trash spot 2 feet away from walkway. breakfast was not hot breakfast, but I expected that, so you should too. overall, it was a cheap motel.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Staff on arrival were rude. Shower kept blocking. Bathroom door was broken and wouldnt close. Man said he would said someone to fix it, he didnt. Poor lighting in the room. Dogs barking from other rooms and people.moving around on floor above. Worst experience I have ever had. The bed was comfortable and clean though.
