Fam Suite

Pros: The pool, and suite.
Cons: Parking fee was a bit high, and unnecessary.
Location: Good location for all things san diego
The hotel was great for our needs. We stayed in one of the family suites, and the kids loved the bunk beds. We enjoyed the extra room to stretch out.

Convenient location but needs serious updating

We were there for the U2 concert @ Qualcomm Stadium. The location is convenient to the San Diego trolley to travel to the venue avoiding traffic. However, entering the room is like going back to the 1970's with its furnishings and lime green decor. The air conditioning doesn't work, the mini fridge has a loud humming sound that keeps you awake for the night and there is a musky almost urine smell in the carpet. It didn't help that there were loose black hairs in the toilet and the towels in the bathroom. The staff does its best but most are inexperienced and in training. Check your final bill, we were double charged for the parking fee. If you just need a place to crash for the night and won't be staying long, it's ok but we don't recommend it.

Always a pleasant stay

Nice place to stay. Tremendous dog friendly policies and hospitality. Dog relief area could be improved. Free morning breakfast is great and plentiful. Nice breakfast area. 10 dollar charge for parking is ok but parking somewhat limited. Covered parking is one way and narrow. Elevstor is appreciated to building especially with an older dog but it was a bit rickety.

Location: Was there for medical appoint meant close by.
Arrived early, allowed to check in and staff very helpful.

It,was comfortable/clean/roomy for one night...location was perfect - san diego zoo. Definitely recommend for a family of 4. Breakfast was,a plus. Fee of ten dollars for garage but totally worth it.

fair hotel

Pros: breakfast was good
Cons: new furnishing.
Location: location was ok but all the resturants and stores were on the other side of interstate.
could use some updating, room was nice, furniture could be updated. not so easy to find from the highway.

Crazy hotel

1st of all there was only 1 person checking in customers so we had to wait. 2ndof all the elevators didn't work so we had to walk up 3 floors with a toddler.. key kept on not working everyday. Was bothered by staff stating that we're not suppose to be in that room.. then the toilet bubbled which means it needed to get snaked. And 2out of the 3 nights the smoke detector kept beeping and when we asked to have the batteries replaced it took them over a day to replace it. Plus had to pay for parking that was not listed in the hotel description when we booked

Close to the Zoo. The hotel was okay but the breakfast made up for it. Great free breakfast!
