Great location for families with kids at U of Montana. Kids loved pool and cookies but the pool could use a little sweeping. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel with great view of mountains and river

Posted Aug 19, 2015
We stayed here in August 2015. We had a king-sized room with a view of the river. This is key. The view of the mountains and the river that runs through Missoula is fabulous. It is also fun to watch the people tubing or kayaking down the river as it has a swift current. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. There is a fine restaurant in the hotel where we had breakfast and dinner.

Good location, close to I-90, UMT, and downtown

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Lobby and rooms were clean and up to date. Good location.
Cons: Noisy AC cycling. Hot tub was broken.
Location: Close to I-90, and walkable to downtown and college area. The river area has trails to walk along.
Stayed overnight with kids while driving back to Seattle. Main concerns were clean rooms and a pool, and the hotel did both of those nicely. On the downside, AC in room had a "whoosh" sound every 15 minutes or so, and we could hear the clunking of other guests entering above at around 11pm.

Great hotel. Prepare for "sticker shock" in restaurant.

Very good location in downtown Missoula

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Clean, quiet, location to river, parks and campus
Cons: More flexibility at time of check out if late check out requested
Location: Campus, hikes, river, downtown parks
Good location, near river and campus, near parks. Safe walking distance to several places. Was disappointed when asked for 1hr late check out (check out time 12:00 and requested 1:00 check out) and told no. Would have appreciated, especially for the price of the facility, the opportunity to have a little more time to gather up and get checked out. Overall, was quiet, clean, nice shower, good sleep and check in staff were very pleasant.

Great location on the river, but mediocre

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Cons: A better bar menu with more modestly priced alternatives
Great deck overlooking the river. Nice bar. Food was okay, but way overpriced for dinner. Room was comfortable. Had to wait a long time to get toilet fixed.

sub-par

Smell of smoke was overwhelming as we entered our non smoking room. As I was changing a shirtless man with a tube skirted along our balcony. It's not supposed to be a pathway, but people use the area to access the river. Also the floor was wet, and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. The bars were very comfortable and the junior suite was spacious.

Nice accommodations--good location.

Hotel is great; restaurant views are awesome, staff great, food is underwhelming. Limited menu and poorly prepared.

Don't be fooled the Hilton name.

Very old hotel. Condition of room, foul odor and brush blocking view sent us looking for another hotel. None found so had to stay. Rear slider broken, actually worn out so couldn't lock it. Homeless and street teens walking outside by or room. River view was joke.
