First B & B visit

Posted Dec 21, 2016
This was our first visit to a bed and breakfast. I think probably the B & B experience depends mainly on the people and of course the cleanliness of facilities. We had a good experience with Jordan and RT. They were friendly and helpful and provided a nice breakfast. In fact we are attempting a quiche today after having one made by Jordan during our visit. The Goldsmith's B & B has a great view of the Clark Fork River right outside our window. Everything was frozen when we visited, but I can imagine sitting on the porch during a warm spring day. It is next to the bridge crossing over to U of M campus, so very convenient. We are used to staying in hotels where desks, minibars, restaurants, bars are in the building. But we would stay here again just because of the personal touch and location convenience. Thanks to Jordan. Hope you have a great holiday vacation!

Location: Easy highway access.
Walk to UM. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Jordan was very accommodating. I'd definitely stay again.

We stayed in room #1 and couldn't have been more impressed! The river was right out our windows! Close to UM campus for games! Such a charming bed and breakfast!

Excellent place to stay

Posted Sep 22, 2016 on Hotels
Had a great weekend getaway and this was a perfect place to stay. Sue greeted us and was very kind and helpful. Had a great breakfast the next morning and the room was very comfortable and it was really close to downtown and a near bridge that was lite up at night. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Comfortable in Missoula

Posted Sep 15, 2016 on Hotels
This was one of the nicest inns we stayed at on our recent road trip. I booked the Clark Fork Suite, which is on the ground floor overlooking the river, with a private balcony. The suite consists of a large bedroom with bed and armchairs, and a separate sitting room with a sofa. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, which worked well. Goldsmith's is a very quiet old house, away from the main drag, and is well situated for restaurants (a ten minute walk west) or basic shopping in a shopping center five minutes east. The king bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast (cooked) was excellent. Staff is very friendly. Really a very pleasant stay in Missoula.

GReat location

The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the B&B is close to the core of downtown making it easy to walk to anything we wanted to see or do. The river view terrace was a nice place to eat dinner one of the nights we were there.

We were there a very short time do some schedule issues. It was fine. I thought it was a bit expensive, but no real complaints except for the fact that water in the shower did not get very warm.

Hello - my apologies regarding the water - this is the first compliant I have received regarding this issue, and it was only now brought to my attention through this review (nothing was mentioned in person). We offer discounted rates throughout the winter - so if you are up for it, please give us another shot at a lower rate and I am sure we can please.
