the overwhelming toxic smell of a combination of cleaning supplies rendered it impossible to stay. Immediately got a migraine. Did not spend a full 2 hours in the room I don't think. Check in took 20 minutes because a new employee could not figure out on his end how to check me in, even though I had already paid with my card in advance and had been charged. The bathroom was a hazard. Very dirty shower floor, and sharp, cracked tile made the idea of a shower there completely undoable. It's a no from me.

Mediocre at best.
Issues with the lights over the bed plug in. The toilet ran after flushing. We had to go to the front desk to get an ice bucket. The prior week, my sister had pot smokers next to her. Some things need to change. Was not worth the $100 we spent for the night.

The manager asked the owner if I could have my pet stay with me it was a busy weekend no other place had rooms and the owner allowed for the pet to stay with me which I really appreciate

James, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We appreciate you announcing your pet at check in. We are not pet friendly ourselves however, we will do all we can to help our potential guests traveling with pets find pet friendly accommodations. With most hotels being booked for the Cat/Griz game we were unable to find other accommodations. With the owner on property that day it made it simple to rectify the situation. Thanks again!

I like hot showers
No hot water in the morning. I guess other rooms had hot water but ours and didn't feel like they believed me. Went to desk to check out and no one ever showed up so threw my keys in a container.. beds were comfy. Very basic hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We did have an issue with hot water in our second building on the day of the Cat/ Griz game. This is the first time we have experienced this issue in the time we have owned the property. We absolutely believe our guests when they bring an issue to our attention. There are just too many variables involved to not go see the issue in person, so us coming in and checking the temp of the water is not because we didn't believe there was an issue, we were simply trying to define the cause of the issue. I am sorry this happened during your stay with us. We made sure any guests affected by this had an opportunity to take a hot shower where the hot water was available. We are taking the steps to correct the issue so this doesn't happen again in the future. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We hope to see you in the future.

Messed Up Water
Hot and Cold water taps were backwards. Turned knob on sink to cold and got HOT water. Very dangerous to little kids. Both in the sink and bathtub.

If you’re wanting to just shower and get a few hours to sleep, then this is a hotel for that. But if you’re trying to get a goodnight rest I would say look for a better rated hotel in the area.

The property is located adjacent to a railroad line. In the middle of the night, freight trains come through frequently, blowing their horns and preventing the guests from getting a sound sleep.

Needs updating. Electric outlets so worn I had to prop a cell phone charger with a shoe to make it work, lamp between beds wouldn't work because cord was too short to reach outlet

Do not stay here. After a month of camping I decided to take a break and get a hotel. When I checked in, the receptionist asked for a credit card. After trying several times, she said she couldn’t get it to work. I was really tired and explained that I already paid for the room. She gave a key. When I got to my room, I realized she charged me twice for the room. I brought this to her attention. She tried for 15 min to correct it she couldn’t fix it. I tried calling the Travel Lodge but could never get through. Then called hotels.com. After spending 30min on the phone with them. They refunded me the amount I paid hotels.com for the room. This was a lot less that what a travel lodge charged me. I am traveling on a very small budget, and did not want to spend a lot of money on a hotel room. Because of the mistake, I ended up spending way more than I could afford for a cheap hotel room. I also ended up spending an hour amount of time trying to fix this problem, when I really needed to get food and rest!!

Don’t trust the photos
The online photos and exterior of the hotel looked like it was updated nicely, but the room was awkward at best in its updated remodel. The baseboards were coming unglued, there was only one available outlet to charge phones etc., the bed and tv were awkwardly placed and offset making it hard to watch. And we didn’t see it until the morning but the shower was dirty.

The property is next to the railroad. Trains were going by and horns were going off until late night and started again early morning. We got Queen size bed instead of King and for some reason only 3 pillows instead of 4… The drapes were broken and didn’t close all way… In our opinion it was way overpriced.
