Not a bad hotel
The hotel wasn't all that bad, 5 mins walk to check Point Charlie, mall of Berlin in Potsdamer Platz or 3 different U/S-Bahn stations. I didnt like the large bedroom windows or how there were 3 bathrooms but 2 were always locked. Temperatures dropped drastically to -10'c could have done with a thinker duvet or a blanket. would happily use this hotel again.

Nice stay in M68
M68 is a neat little hostel in East Berlin within walking distance from Checkpoint Charlie. It is relatively cheap and clean. I stayed in a single room and the bathroom was just down the hall. It was almost always vacant, so no problems there. It also has a small cafe at the entrance where they sell some snacks, coffee, and really cheap beer. If the weather is nice, they even put a few tables outside which allows you to enjoy the rare Berlin sun. I recommend this hotel.

Building needs maintenance.
The shared bathroom was dirty and in bad shape. The room faced the busy street and had sheer curtains that let in full loght at night and gave everyone on the street a view of what I was doing.

Friendly and clean. Only real drawback was the noise from the street, as the room is on the second floor of a busy corner.

It would be useful to state that the hotel is on the corner of Leipziger Strasse and Mauerstrasse, though some maps show that end of Mauerstrasse as being Glinkastrasse. Leipziger Strasse is busy (traffic), so quite noisy at night. It's less than 5 minutes walk to/from the nearest u-bahn (Mohrenstrasse) so easy to get to everything that isn't within walking distance. The blurb said the bathroom would be 'along the corridor' , though it was actually en-suite, so better than expected. A few cosmetic things could be sorted out (light fittings that had been changed and not filled in properly, sheet and duvet cover had a small rip in each, but were well washed and ironed etc). Though nothing hindered the comfort of our stay. Initially the room was very warm, but the large fan in the room dealt with that very effectively.

Really pays off cost/benefit ratio. Walking distance to almost everything in Mitte.

Okay hotel.. but it wasn't as advertised. Not happy.
We turned down many hotels on the basis they were twin rooms and not a double. So imagine our disappointment when we get there and its a twin room - not a double as advertised. We had no way of knowing and it's been proven you can't just push two single beds together. Still very disappointed. Case closed! The hotel itself is fine. Not the classiest establishment or cleanest looking but it suffices and the city is so amazing you should get out there anyway.

Nobody Told me...
...that the bathroooms down the hall were numbered in accordance with our room numbers. I was in room 3, and just by chance, tried to use Bathroom number 3, but someone was in it. "No biggie" I thought, I'll use the one next door. So I did. When I was finished I was confronted by a very angry American (*very* angry) whose claim that I had used his bathroom turned out to be correct when I checked with the staff the next morning. If somebody had told me, I could have avoided a very uncomfortable moment. But I clearly wasn't the only one in the dark since there was someone in the bathroom that should have been empty for me. Overall, it's kind of cheap, this hotel. And the staff know it, and don't really take service very seriously.

Great amenties, clean and large room
M68 was in a good clean location in Mitte, and very close to see all the main sights and Stadmitte station nearby. Rooms were clean and plenty of room in the bedroom and huge bathroom. Great amenities; free wifi in cafe mini convenience store for drinks etc. Decor was OK, not extreme luxury but was very impressed for the price paid and the location

The location of M68 is great - walking distance to many Berlin landmarks. However, there were some problems: I asked for a non-smoking room and my room smelled like smoke, a couple little things were stolen from my room, and the reception desk closed early.

Ótima escolha!
Estivemos em Berlin na última semana de novembro/2015 e não temos nada a reclamar do hotel. Pelo contrário, ficamos até no temido quarto 6 (onde a wifi supostamente não chega, mas pra nós funcionou perfeitamente bem) e achamos ser o melhor quarto do hotel! Um varanda linda, com banheiro e quarto bem confortáveis! Por uma mudança na nossa viagem, tivemos que fazer duas reservas diferentes lá e aí mudamos do quarto 6 para o 4, salvo engano, no segundo dia. O único porém é que o segundo quarto não conseguimos pegar como suíte (o 6 é!), mas o banheiro era privativo também! Por fim, outro fator bem legal do hotel é a cerveja barata! Bebemos várias por lá que custavam menos de 2 euros - enquanto que nos outros locais eram, no mínimo, 4 euros! Ou seja: adoramos o M68!

Simplesmente tem uma localização excelente! Andamos a pé o tempo inteiro que estivemos em Berlim (3 noites). O que falam mal sobre as condições do hotel também não verificamos. Ficamos num temido quarto 6 (onde a wifi não chega kkkk) e só elogios. Ah! Cerveja barata e boa variedade tb é lá! Por fim, falaram mal do café da manhã também, mas nós adoramos. Pra 7 euros, vale a pena sim!

Ich habe nur eine Nacht in dem Hotel verbracht, da das, welches ich normalerweise buche, ausgebucht war. Ich denke, dass das Personal sich alle Mühe gibt. Dennoch ist das Haus und das Möbiliar schon älter und schwer sauber zu halten. Der Lärm von der Straße trägt dabei nicht zum Wohlfühlen-Faktor bei...

Günstiges Hotel in zentraler Lage
Wir brauchten das Zimmer nur über eine Nacht mit absehbar recht kurzem Aufenthalt im Zimmer, waren zu einer Feier in Berlin eingeladen. Problemloser Zugang auch in der Nacht, bedarfsgerechtes Zimmer, Bad sogar entgegen Buchung direkt im Zimmer. Etwas lauter bei offenen Fenster durch direkte Lage an Hauptstraße. Ventilator im Zimmer (Tag mit fast 30°).

insgesamt in Ordnung
Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende in Berlin verbracht und wollten ein nicht zu teures Hotel. So war es, der Preis war im Vergleich unschlagbar, es war halbwegs sauber, die Nähe zur U-Bahn und Innenstadt super. Nachteil: eine Matratze war okay, die andere völlig durchgelegen, so dass ich 20cm tiefer als meine Nachbarin lag.

En voyage d'affaires j'ai eu l'occasion de séjourner 1 nuit dans cet hôtel, les chambres avec un confort minimal... pas de climatisation, pas des toilettes dans ma chambre (N°2) et la literie... médiocre. Une place de parking sur la rue peut être réservé pour €10 la journée. L'accueil est plus tôt agréable sans plus.

Location is great, price is very good for the location. The room itself was very nice, including a separate sitting area with large windows. The only problem was the bathroom, which was incredibly small and a little old. The sink was so small that it was almost impossible to use.

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung. Der hohe Preis spiegelt vor allem die gute Lage wieder. In puncto Sauberkeit, Zustand des Zimmers etc. lässt es hier und da zu wünschen übrig - aber für ein 2 Sterne-Hotel ist das wohl angemessen. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war in Ordnung, leider ging die Steckdose nicht. Würde hier nochmal übernachten, allerdings nur erneut mit einem Rabatt, nicht zum Originalpreis.

Bra beliggenhet og store rom
Veldig fornøyd. Rommet var stort og hotellets ansatte var veldig hyggelige. Hadde absolutt ikke noe problem med at man hadde et eget bad på gangen. Rent og stor dusj. Lett å gå til Berlins serverdigheter og kun en gate unna U-bahn om man trenger å reise litt langt! Dessverre kom det aldri varmt vann i dusjen våres, men vi hadde aldri tid til å ta det opp med hotellets ansatte, så det kunne kanskje vært fikset, men det var 30 grader i Berlin da, så en kald dusj var greit for oss da. Skulle vært kjøleksap der også, for når det var 30 grader der var det ikke godt med varm drikke på rommet og vinduene er svære og kun et lite et kan åpnes, heldigvis er det vifte på rommet som hjelper litt.

Prima hotel voor deze prijs, vlakbij o.a. Checkpoint Charie. Enige minpunten waren het feit dat pas bij boeking bleek dat de "prive" badkamer op de gang is. Op zich geen probleem, maar al snel bleken er andere gasten ook te douchen hier. Tevens was het ontbijt niet super voor die prijs, even buiten de deur at je voor hetzelfde geld/minder lekkerder. Maar de prijs kwaliteit verhouding was goed, wil je meer luxe dan betaal je zeker in Berlijn op deze locatie vele euro s meer!

Smelly hotel room - very big and quite noisy. The "private bathroom in the Hall" was only a promise, not a reality. Staff was nice, but not committed. We did not even consider the breakfast.
