"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Der Weg zum Haus ist super vom Vermieter beschrieben und sehr abenteuerlich. Das Haus steht in absoluter Alleinlage am Waldrand und direkt vor dem Haus beginnen die Weinfelder. Traumhaft schön. Die kleine Auffahrt direkt zum Haus (ca. 50m) ist sehr steil. Vom Parkplatz vor dem Haus geht es ca. 50 Stufen durch den Garten zum GebĂ€ude. Das AußengelĂ€nde und der Garten könnten etwas mehr liebe vertragen. Oben gibt es eine wunderschöne ĂŒberdachte Terrasse mit einem großartigen Blick auf Offenburg....

The kitchen was adequate, washer and dryer were so nice to have. The chance to gather together in the large room was the biggest need for us, and we spent a lot of time there. Host was helpful and very responsive. Great experience!"

"Five of us stayed very comfortably. We could have easily had twice that many. There was a misunderstanding about towels and such. It was entirely my fault. This was my first experience with a self-service place and I didn’t read the instructions completely. Complicated by a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

"An elegant, spacious property ideally located at the edge of this lovely town. We regularly walked the short distance to the many restaurants and cafes and the younger members of our group enjoyed the nearby tennis courts and open air swimming pool. "Umgebung top. Leider waren einige Dinge in der Ferienunterkunft defekt. Die Dusche im UG war die TĂŒr defekt und konnte nicht benutzt werden, im OG war die BalkontĂŒr defekt und man konnte diese nicht nutzen, der TiefkĂŒhlschrank war voll und vereist (wir hatten vorher nachgefragt ob es einen gibt und wir diesen nutzen können und auf der Terrasse waren die Bodenfliesen locker."
