Nice, quiet hotel near the train station

Pros: Two minute walk from the train station. Friendly staff.
Location: We took a 15-minute train to Shiroishi-Zao station, then a 4000-Yen taxi ride to Zao Fox Village (Miyagi Zao Kitsune Mura). Several dozen cute foxes.
We stayed for two nights. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of typical Japanese and American/European breakfast items.

Thanks for your stayed at our hotel. Our hotel is located 3 minutes on foot from Sendai station. Fox village can be reached by car in about 1 hour. Breakfast is Japanese and Western buffet style. We looking forward to seeing you coming again. Thank you.

This hotwl was wonderful. The staff was so polite ans accomodating. The room and hotel was very cleaning. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Sendai Train Station. The only category I didn't the hotel a "5" in was "room comfort." This is not because the room isn't comfortable but that is it very small. This is very typical of Japanese hotels, but if someone is from another country it would be best to be aware of that beforehand.

Cons: Nothing!
This is a great hotel! Very modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great too! The price was perfect and being so close to the train station makes this a definite stay again.

Pros: Bathroom is great. Excellent location.
perfect week in Sendai, lots of fun places to visit, excellent food, great shopping, and I loved going to the Eagles Baseball game. The walking distance to the train & bus station made the hotel location ideal.

Large Room, Huge Bathroom, FANTASTIC HOTEL.

Pros: Free WiFi, Bathroom was large, in room pants press, breakfast in building.
Location: Walking distance from Sendai station. Lots of Date Masamune (Sendai's first samurai) shrines, etc. Shopping malls.
After a week of small hotel rooms in Tokyo, this room was everything I needed to relax during my 3 days in Sendai. The bathroom was like a dream - moveable shower head, tub, mirrors, stool, bucket. After visiting an onsen, I was thrilled. The room was also big enough to lay out my clothes, organize my suitcase comfortably, and just relax. Would return any day! Breakfast was cheap as well and quite tasty.

Great Deal in Sendai, Japan

Pros: The location and the price.
Cons: While not a major problem, most of the staff spoke little English.
Location: It was right downtown close to the train station. With the Shinkansen Tokyo was less than 90 minutes away.
The Sendai Washington Hotel is a "businessmen"s hotel", but it served my pruposes admirably. It was a short walk from the train station, ultra modern and incredibly cheap - average of C$54.11 per night over an eight day stay.

All what travellers need!

I travelled with seniors so that this place is perfect in term of location, non-slip bathroom floor, bathroom facilities (I personally like the body sponge), cleanliness, hotel security, etc. One of the best thing is the Family Mart next door. Our hotel provides the connecting door which it's more than convenient to get to this store and have something for breakfast. We stayed in Semidouble bedroom because we spent most of the time at Sakura blossom spots it's ok to get a 4.5 or 5-ft bed. The room itself was not that big, but who cares, here's Japan! There's no wardrobe, only 3 hooks with 6 hangers provided. No working desk. Adequate sockets were installed, so we had no worries regarding charging our smart phones/laptops. We do luv Sendai Washington Hotel!!!
