Nice and convenient

Posted Feb 7, 2016
Pros: Nice accommodations and very clean. The 37-inch HDTV w/HBO was a really nice touch.
Cons: Everything was good.
Location: The hotel is convenient to Moab, so it is close to all restaurants and businesses. (We were driving, so everything was easy to get to.)
I think this hotel has been upgraded since we last stayed there. The room was very nicely appointed, very clean (especially the bathroom), and very comfortable. Breakfast was well done by the staff. The food was hot, tasty, and they never ran out of anything when we were there. The staff was very nice. Everything about our stay was excellent, and we will definitely come back to this hotel. Oh, yes, the hotel is convenient to everything in Moab, and it is a quick drive to the national parks and BLM areas. Perfect!

Falls short of excellent

Posted Jan 25, 2016
Pros: It was clean and nice inside.
Cons: Just check and fix the amenities in the rooms to make sure everything works as it should.
Location: Moab so Arches, petroglyphs, lots of scenery to see, mountain biking, hiking, rafting.
Overall the stay was okay. The room and hotel was very clean and nice. The room however lacked some elements that would have made the stay much better. The major issue was the A/C unit. We stayed in January and the heat was set to 72 degrees. I prefer the room to be cooler, especially at night to sleep but the A/C unit could not get the room lower than 70 degrees. It was just too warm for a comfortable night's sleep. The remote for the TV was very tricky. It took some time to get the TV and cable box functioning and was spotty after that. The blow drier in the bathroom didn't work. The shower head in the shower was very powerful and only seemed to have one setting: full power. It was just way too powerful and only provided a direct, very strong stream of water. The only issue among these that was really a deal breaker was the A/C unit. It literally ran all night long and never cooled the room down. The other things were just minor annoyances, but this one affected us getting a good night's sleep.

We stayed at this hotel during the visit of arches national park. Location was very convenient for visitors. the room was relaxing and nicely quiet. Breakfast was OK, but there would be great if there are more variety of breakfast menu.

Room was OK; Parking lot terrible

Posted Nov 22, 2015
Cons: Parking
The parking lot is super small. Every night we were stayed at this hotel, we had trouble finding a parking spot. We ended up parking in a fire lane one night because there wasn't enough parking. I have stayed in many Hampton's was was very disappointed in this hotel. Will not stay here again. We had items stolen at this hotel.

We always love to stay at the Hampton! As a bonus this trip, they had the outdoor pool still open (in mid-November!), and it was warm enough for the kids. The hot tub, of course, was for me. I've stayed a lot of places in Moab, and this is my absolute favorite.
