Visiting Arches and Canyonlands

Posted Jul 24, 2017
We stayed at this motel in Green River because it was considerably cheaper than Moab. The town is run down and half deserted, but the people are nice. The outside of Knights Inn is old, but we were pleasantly surprised with our room. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the shower worked nicely. You get a 10% discount at the adjacent restaurant of you show them your room key. We wished the rooms had microwaves & mini fridges as we were staying a few days, but otherwise the room was fine. You could do worse in Green River.

A place to sleep.

Front desk had to manipulate the hot water because the tech hadn't fixed it yet. Two inch gap under door. Bed comfortable enough.

Nice hotel, good location.

Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Good location, about five hours from Denver, and close to the top entrance of Canyonlands and Arches NP. Short walking distance to parking, restaurant and store.

Credence Clearwater Revival- Green River!!

Posted May 8, 2017
Pros: Quite, friendly staff, nice room.
Cons: Why don't motels have HD TV ?
Location: Close to Arches National Park at half the price of Moab.
About what was expected for Green River ;~) We only stayed one night so it's hard to comment more.

Older hotel in small town

Posted May 4, 2017
It was OK after 700 mile towards Arches and Canyonlands but Moab hotels are far superior. The bed was reasonable but all furniture, curtains, bathroom were past their prime. Reception was distracted and nor welcoming or smiling. Even parking needs a bit of redesign, though space available. Next door restaurant was reasonable with reasonable prices.

Pros: The restaurant next door which was owned by the hotel, was clean and good food
Walked into room and found food left in the fridge from the day before. Opened drapes to access window and the screen was bent and distorted just hanging there. The entry door inside safety lock was broken and in the bathroom there was only 3 bath towels with no wash cloths and no hand towels.

Worned

Worned and dirty hotel in a trashy area of town. Efforts were made to keep the place clean but cleanliness was hard to assess.
