Great Staff in a ho=hum hotel

Posted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: staff
Cons: maintenance overall
Spent two nites there. The staff was very helpful but the hotel is old and needs maintenance. We had to change rooms because the air conditioner wasnt working. Shower dripped water and temp of water varied. Parking was very limited

Convenient to Arches NP. Room was spacious.

This motel is expensive for this style of accomodation, similar to all other options in this very popular tegion! We nonetheless had a comfortable stay.

Convenient location.

The staff was pleasant and helpful but that aside would not recommend. This hotel is way past due for updating. Bathroom fixtures in terrible condition. Standing in ankle deep water during shower as tub does not drain is gross.

Terrible condition

Posted Sep 2, 2015
Pros: The only thing worth mention is the location. But Moab is not big so it's not really that much of advantage.
Cons: make the room clean
Location: Near many restaurants
Room was smelly that one could not breath and the facilities are very old and weary. There are insects in the room and I got 3 big insect bites. We reserved for 3 nights and left after one night stay. It definitely overpriced for its condition.

Acceptable based in price compared to other options in town but nothing special. It was clean and the room size was good. There was no breakfast. I would consider coming back again but I would shop around first.

Pros: It was a little less expensive than many in Moab.
Cons: Clean the bathrooms.
Location: Moab is a great destination. Spend extra on a hotel.
The be thrown smelled like urine. In addition, the front desk had no extra toiletries for purchase, but the gas station down the block was fully stocked.

Bad Attitude

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: View was nice.
Cons: Someone with a better attitude at front desk.
Location: Location was close to Arches National Park and saw a restaurant nearby.
Called ahead as we were going to be late and the woman was rude. Found out from her that I'd have to call number to get help at time of arrival. When arrived, it was the same rude woman and she told us that we should have called. My husband told her immediately if she wanted to give us our money back we'd go somewhere else even though we were tired. She replied no that we had already paid. In other words, she knew we had called ahead of late arrival. I would never stay there in the future.

It was clean but the bed was lumpy. Needs to be replaced. Wifi was super slow, timed out on loading.

A bit of the older west

The hotel is outdated but has some fun funky touches including a lit pool, great water slide, hand-painted Western scenes in the bedroom and outdoor torches poolside. Breakfast consisted of only home-made cookies and coffee.

Great location, super fun pool.

Great stopover in Moab! The super fun pool with huge slide is the icing on the cake for this hotel. While not a new property, everything was in working order, the beds were comfortable (carry your own pillow - theirs are sort of hard and flat) and the place was clean. The decor is 70's inspired - avocado bath tub and toilet, big mural on the headboard wall - AND clean and functional. Great location just north of the main downtown street full of shopping and food. You could easily walk anywhere in town you wanted to go. Only a 5 minute drive to Arches NP and Canyonlands NP.
