In the middle of nothing

Posted Jul 29, 2016
For us it was perfect on our trip through Canyon Land. The kids liked the pool. Nobody in the family liked the breakfast in the lobby....

Disappointed

Posted Jul 26, 2016
Pros: Breakfast was good. There was a variety of food and plenty of seating.
Cons: Other than the above issues, the room was spacious and satisfactory. The staff needs training to deal with weary travelers due to their location.
Our room was on the second floor and the hotel did not have an elevator. Our room was supposed to be no smoking but it reeked of stale smoke when we walked in. When my husband complained at the front desk, he was handed a large can of Lysol spray. We were looking forward to using the hot tub after driving ten hours, but it was out of order. I purposely chose this hotel because of the indoor hot tub as opposed to others at lesser room rate.

Ligging vlakbij de interstate, op ongeveer een uur rijden van een aantal nationale parken. Leuk zwembad.

Alternative to Moab

Posted Jul 19, 2016
Nice hotel at a reasonable price. However you might save 30_ 40 $ a night rather than comparable place in Moab, but you are 25_ 30 miles from Arches. Opportunity cost? Had a flat tire and there were two businesses that were so accessible and fire idly in Green River. P.S. GPS docent work, just look for motel. Can't miss it. Gas station and convenience store right there

Great for a brief stay.

Posted Jul 17, 2016
Pros: It was charming, especially due to the art in the rooms. It was comfortable and sufficient. Lots of room and storage. Clean bathroom and kitchen area.
Cons: The internet. The television. The carpet needed some love.
Location: Tiny, tiny town. Perfect place to rest. If you blink, you miss it. Nice little park, great river access, 45 minutes from Moab, Arches National Park.
The facility itself is great to look at outside. You just aren't going to beat the view or the 1 mile jaunt from the highway! Also, you are a short walk away from gorgeous Green River. The breakfast was standard minimum effort deal, with toaster waffles, fruit and yogurt. The coffee should be outlawed and confiscated by any caring government. Overall, it was enough to get you moving until you can get some legitimate food. There is a single genuine store 2 miles into "town" that is cute and complete; a Burger King and gas station are visible from the lobby. The pool was great. There were some light stains on the bottom, but the water and Jacuzzi were very clean. Could have used a bit of upkeep. The pool room itself was beautiful, though. The suite was pretty good. Great art! But, the floor was a bit worn and the towels weren't too amazing. Water pressure was a bit weak. The AC was very strong, the beds were comfortable and clean. The television was absolutely pointless. No channel guide, awful reception. The internet also was dismal. I could only get service when the hotel was empty or everyone else was asleep, which is inexcusable. Fixable, though. The staff was good. The halls were clean and well kept. I would stay there again, definitely, despite the flaws. Considering the value for the price, it's an OK deal. However, the price is largely due to the proximity to Moab, which is twice as expensive! The other hotels in town were dumps; this is your best option, by far.

Inside Camping

Posted Jul 15, 2016
Cons: Bedding could be up dated.
Location: Middle of nowhere!
Old bedding, old furniture, breakfast lacking... It was a one night stay in the middle of a long drive, not a vacation destination. For just a bed and shower it was okay.

Short stay on our road trip through Utah. The room was comfortable & clean. The staff was friendly. We would stay here again.
