If you have business in Bayou LaBatre, this is the only hotel in town. Your other options are about 30 minutes away. Room had damp, musty, mildewy smell, and roaches, dead and alive. However, when I told the front desk, the night manager immediately came to the room, stripped the beds and put new linens on them. Additionally, she sprayed the room with something that removed the odor. She was apologetic, and really nice. I think the rooms get little use, and the area is high in humidity. Wouldnt want to stay again though. Will say though all the plumbing was working, hot water etc. Could be nice if cleaning was more of a priority.
