Quick, in and out

I just used the hotel as an overnight travel stop. I checked in about 8:30 p.m. and checked out at 5:30 a.m. the next morning, so I missed breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean. It was obvious that the hotel was an older property, but seemed to be well maintained.

We were here 8/29, running from Hurricaie Harvey

Pros: I would recommend the chain for their reasonable prices and clean rooms.
Cons: none
Location: There are lots of restaurants both sit down and fast food near the hotel. There is a mall near by. You can always go to the beach if you want.
I am a rewards card holder so I frequent LaQuinta hotels no matter what state I am in. My child is a student at a University in New Orleans and I was able to go online and make reservations and have her there within 3hrs during the time when we didnt know how bad the weather would be from Hurricane Harvey. Staff was very nice. I reserved the room for 4 days so that we could wait out the storm, but only needed 2 days and the staff was very understanding and refunded my money for the unused days. Oh did I mention they have a complementary breakfast. I would recommend the chain for their reasonable prices and clean rooms.

Smelly hotel

Smelled like smoke and the shower was dirty. It was definitely not like what the pictures showed.

Not up to other La Quinta hotels

Pros: the rate
Location: Only stayed overnight
The drain in the shower/tub was clogged. Stood in more than ankle deep water while using it. The breakfast offering was disappointing.

It is not La Quinta quality , I have been many times at La Quinta in different locations but this one looks like a motel

Over night stay

Service was very good. Property is old. It it's pet friendly, breakfast was decent. No meat offerings. Only 1 waffle iron- this slowed the process down considerably.
