Good solid choice.Posted Aug 27, 2015
Good spot for the business traveler. Excellent rate vs. the local competition. Well maintained and clean rooms. I only had a small issue with the shower curtain smelling a little musty. Overall no issue and would stay there again.

Great Location, but dirty.Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Good Location
Cons: ...but filthy
Great location off I-10, but the room carpet was filthy and there were bugs in the bathroom. I finally left at 2:30 a.m... It was just too dirty. The bed smelled like lady's perfume, the carpets were truly awful, the bathroom not clean and bugs walking around. It looked like a newer LaQuinta from the outside. I still like LaQuinta, just not this one...

Nice location.Posted Jul 28, 2015
The drapes in the hotel are just two panels on the sides of the window. The whole window does have that thin white one across the entire window but it lets all the outside light in, making the mornings uncomfortable.

Close to the highwayPosted Jul 18, 2015
The location is the best thing about this hotel. It is close to I-10 and many restaurants. McDonalds is next door and nicer establishments like Logan's Roadhouse and the Olive Garden are within minutes away. The room is a typical motel-type room. Our door did not shut properly... It gave me an uneasy feeling. The AC worked well to cool the room but I did not think the beds were comfortable.

Mediocre at its bestPosted Jul 10, 2015
Cons: Cleanliness of common areas...fresh coat of paint!
We stayed here a night before driving into Gulf Shores. We spent a day in Daphne and at this hotel as part of our vacation. It was just OK in every way. I have been at other La Quinta Inns that have been much nicer and much cleaner. The front lobby reservationist sternly told us no smoking in room (which was funny because we are NOT smokers!), yet when we entered room we found a cigarette behind the bed!!!! We had our two year old daughter with us, so I should rather say she found it. The room definitely had a slight smell of urine...most likely because it is a dog friendly hotel. The bathroom seemed clean and the bed was comfy so all in all it was just fine but they could definitely do some freshening up of the hotel!

Great Nights Sleep!!Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Tempur-pedic beds.
Cons: Overnight girl had no personality, but that is not a requirement. Their coffee was sub par, but I am a coffee snob.
Location: Starbucks across the street and other food and shopping choices close by.
We arrived at about 2 am after being on the road all day. When we walked into the room it was gorgeous! The room was very clean and decorated very nicely. The best part was the Tempur-pedic beds, WOW! We got a great nights sleep on them. Breakfast was OK, though the eggs appeared to be powdered. It was better than a continental breakfast. The hot tub was not hot but warm. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay with them again.

A great place to stayPosted Jul 2, 2015 on Hotels
A great place to stay. I was in town for my class reunion in Mobile. I chose this hotel because it is close to great shopping, restaurants and not too far for a day trip to Gulf Shores and nightly reunion activities in Downtown Mobile. They had my preferred breakfast of coffee, yogurt and fruit. Staff were all extremely nice.

Overall it was ok. The spa needs to be renovated. It was usable, but not what I expected. The bed was on the harder side. The room was ok and the breakfast was ok.
