Great hotel at an amazing price

Check in was fast and easy; the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. Will definitely stay here again when passing through the area.

Everything was clean, and furnished. Great amenities.The staff were friendly. We definitely will be coming back. Recommend anyone looking for a great hotel on a tight budget.

Not bad for the price.

Got a great deal on the room. Check in was a breeze. The bed was hard as a rock and the AC barely pumped out anything. It was enough to keep you from complaining, but not enough to actually cool you. The fridge didn't have a freezer and initially felt that it had been turned off for awhile. Other than that it was fine. Getting to it from I-10 required an iffy U-turn followed by a very steep climb up a hill. Only one entry and exit. If you didn't park in the front row of the building, remember to set your e-brake because the rest of the parking lot is sloped harshly. Not the best location but could have been worse.

Nice Hotel

Pros: The price.
Cons: The beds are not the most comfortable. Add more breakfast choices.
Nice & clean hotel. Staff personnel were very nice and accommodating.

Wanted...Housekeeper!

Location: We were in town for the Battleship 12K (Veteran's Day weekend) and to visit the U.S.S. Alabama.
Stayed on 2nd floor in a non-smoking room. Although the room seemed nice upon check-in, we were extremely disappointed in the fact that the bathroom had been seriously neglected by housekeeping. The floor was covered in random hairs from previous guests and there were hairs stuck on the wall of the shower. The mattresses and pillows on both beds were extremely worn. Although the continental breakfast was fair, I wouldn't suggest the hard-boiled eggs (not fresh) or the cereal (tasted quite stale).

Pros: Pricing. Location. Friendly staff. Cleanliness of room.
Cons: Mattress needed to be replaced. It was exremely hard and and squeeked with just sitting on it. Lobby area could use an update.
Location: Great location.

Pros: Nothing
Location: Just passing thru.
Desk clerk tried to charge rack rate at check-in. Close to major highways and noisy. Room was adequate, nothing more.

Disappointment

First of all I read a review that said the hotel was difficult to find. It was, considering it was on a hill behind some trees. Check in was smooth and easy. The staff was really nice. We were on the 3rd floor and the air was out in the hallway which the guy had told us upon checking in. Our room was just as hot. We turned the air down but never was cool enough. The Air condition would cut off every 4 1/2 minutes and it would sound like a motor cycle starting up. The beds were hard and had a crunchy sound. The bath tub wasn't draining. The towels were thin and small. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
