The staff was exemplary; it was the issues that we encountered before arriving. I received an email stating there were issues with the plumbing and that they sent us to a sister property. I was told to call and give them my credit card number. When I called, Rochelle said she knew nothing about it. She put us on hold and never came back. We called again, and she was rude. She told us she only had two nights available, and we were staying four nights. We called TownePlace back and spoke to the GM, and we were told the situation. She said we could come and she would discount our room. However, I did not get a discount. The televisions in the bedrooms would not work, so maintenance changed the boxes, but they would not cut off. In the bedroom I was in, the television volume would not go up or down nor mute. These issues did not allow for good rest and meditation. At the end of it all, the stay was not enjoyable.

Terrible Stay
I will never book at this hotel again. TVs did not work, dirty drawers in kitchen and bathroom, damp smell to room, never pucked up trash or replenished towels. NOT Marriott standard at all.

Staff was very friendly, room , lobby and hallways were clean. Only disappointment was our first room the heat, the bedroom lights and phones didn't work. So Ms. Jennifer moved us to another room. That room was better. Refrigerator was rusted on the outside and microwave were rusted inside in both rooms so we didnt use them. Peeling paint on the doors....but overall ok.

Checking in with a pleasant staff member, parking was fine, the hotel looks like someone tried to get it looking better but they used the cheapest materials. Shower had a space from the wall to the shower, my husband showered, quickly but the kids and myself went to my family’s house. I found an open, empty, condoms wrapper in the drawers and someone’s dirty socks and work clothes. I ALWAYS bring a candle for our hotel rooms, I suggest you do as well. The staff was very sweet and smiling so that made the stay so much better. Not a lot of places have staff that talk to you and smile! The egg omelet was delicious!!! This place has potential, just the higher ups need to not be so cheap, your staff is great so make this place great too!

I was given a wheelchair accessible room, which is NOT what I booked. The room was dirty, not renovated like the pictures. Tub was dirty with hair in it & a broken drain plug. Refrigerator covered in rust & water leaked through the cracks in the kitchen floor.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for only one night, but we didn't have any issues during our stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and check in was easy. The room was on the smaller side, but having separate bedrooms was nice. Both rooms and the bathroom were clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a small kitchen area which was nice for coffee in the morning (we bring everything with us, including a small Keurig). Everything seems clean, but somehow the outside of the refrigerator is rusting. Not sure how that happens since the inside was clean, but it's not a good impression when you walk in. The property was quiet and we felt safe there. The hallway going into our building could have used a vacuum and some WD-40 on the front door hinges, but overall, everything was fine. We would stay here again.

Ac only stayed at 56 degrees they told us out of linen for sofa bed we paid 300 for one night cable didnt work refrigerator rusted. Only positive was staff were great. A LOT OF MALE DRAG ESCORTING GOING ON

Nasty carpet/rusty fridge
I stayed 2 nights at this location very nice on the outside, once I was in rm #210 it smelled clean I notice tile from the door to the kitchenette and then there was carpet after being in the room I noticed my white socks were like sticking to the tile and carpet my socks was starting to turn dark grey/black, made my first trip into the kitchen and notice what I thought was designs on the stainless steel fridge was actually rust from top to bottom and on the sides

Rooms appear to be newly renovated. Halls and room had a bad smell - smoking, food, etc. Room 317 next to us was awful. Hotel left the door propped open for the day and left a cleaning cart in front of our room. Guests kept propping open the building doors late at night to let other people in. We would shot it and then they would prop it back open again which caused concern for safety.

Staff was very friendly. My room didnt have any water pressure in the shower, and made it for a horrible morning. Air conditioner in 1 room was operated differently than another room. Was locked outside the door for over an hour for maintenence to change the batteries in the door lock. No parking because one customer parked in 2 spots and another parked in the roadway blocking spots.

The hall way smelled like some took a $h!t in it the whole week i was there. The room was fairly decent. My oven was broken and stove top could barely cook my eggs. But overal it was meh. Just okay.

We waited for a couple of hours to get out two rooms that we had reserved and finally I had them to cancel them. There was ten of us 5 adults and 5 children. I was furious but they let the kids play in the pool while we waited before we had to cancel and go somewhere else.

I was disappointed that there wasn’t any housekeeping for the entire week. There were no household cleaning supplies like broom, dustpan, cleaner, etc. otherwise the room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, and helpful.

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. We came to Mobile for Mardi Gras. The staff had packets with parade times and routes. The hotel was clean. We were told a renovation was to begin shortly. We would highly recommend this property.
