The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice. The pool was nice. Breakfast was good with waffles. The bad thing was our rooms smelled like smoke which made it very uncomfortable. And the location of our rooms was very bad. It was around the exterior south side with a garbage bin and its of bushes. It was scary and we couldn't open our windows or shutters because we were too scared. It was just girls in our rooms and there were some scary people around. There was a couple hanging out in their car in the parking lot, the man had tatoos from head to toe, walked to the garbage bin and was buttoning his pants as he came from behind the garbage bin area. I didnt feel safe at all in our room. The rooms on the interior by the pool were very nice and enclosed. We would gave felt safe if we were there instead.

Clean but not comfortable

Train wakes you out of your sleep. Getting onto the bed is so loud squeaks so bad. Bed in uncomfortable. No blankets only sheets. Room was very clean. Conveniently right by hwy 99 and stores/mall.

Comfortable stay

Great overall. Train track by the hotel. Depends on where you are, it could get noisy at times.

Lovely room, staff attentive

Young man at desk exceptional. Only complaint was noise from freeway, but quiet in room. Pool and spa looked lovely, didn't have bathing suit.

Pros: Staff is nice. Motel has been totally remodeled. Nice, clean. I noticed, compared to previous stays (2009), clientele has upgraded with motel upgrade.
Cons: The noise factor from trains and traffic. I wonder why that was not taken care of during the remodeling? Some rooms without super firm mattress.
Location: Near grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations.
From previous stay, I know hotel is next to major freeway - US 99, and train tracks. Usually took me couple days to adjust. What I did not know is the mattresses have been replaced - very firm. Tossed n turned every night because pain from my shoulders due to 'too firm' mattress kept waking me up.

Nicely updated room.

Pros: Staff was helpful and polite. We loved the fresh baked waffles every morning on the breakfast bar.
Cons: Very busy train tracks near the property but didn't bother our sleep at all.
Location: Easy to get to large mall for shopping and dozens of restaurants.
Room was very clean. No carpet-all laminate flooring. Bed was wonderful but raised so high it was difficult to get into it for both my granddaughter and myself.

Nice hotel, terrible location.

The hotel facility itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location, however, was terrible. It is just feet from a heavily used railroad track. Our room was facing the track, and even with quality earplugs and absolute exhaustion, we were unable to get any quality sleep, as the train would go through on about an hourly basis. It's possible that the other side of the hotel is quieter. I feel the rooms facing the rack should be heavily discounted with s clear statement as to why. After camping for 6 days in Yosemite, we were greatly looking forward to a good night sleepl. It's unfortunate, as the place is otherwise super and quite comfortable. Although I would recommend a baymont suites to friends, I would not recommend this particular one to anyone.
