How can a hotel stay open while under construction? Well it should not have!

Pros: Staff, very nice & helpful.
Cons: Better insulation between rooms.
Location: Food, lots of choices. Didn't venture out as was just passing thru.
Friendly & helpful staff. A lot construction all around the building. Walls too thin could hear guests in other rooms & down hallways. Great breakfast.

The Right Place, At The Right Time.Posted Dec 12, 2017
I was my first time staying at a Comfort Inn. I must admit it was just perfect, the room has a warm inviting feel to them. Overall it just felt right.

Kafka-esque surreal experiencePosted Dec 10, 2017
Pros: Very clean, great staff, and comfortable beds.
Cons: Fill holes in the wall before painting, sure the bathroom door could close, replace the tattered lampshades and the worn toilet seat.
Location: Freeway close. They have a nice view of you in the room. Ample abandoned shopping carts nearby. Artistic grafitti.
A weary traveller on the road must stop for the night. A woman alone. She books a room at the Comfort Inn, Modesto because Comfort Inns are usually, well, comfortable. Greated at the door by construction caution tape, she at first thinks she has gone into the wrong entrance. But looking past the pile of rubble, she spies a crisply dressed desk attendant, ready to help. She is greated with friendly, helpful service, and given a room on the third floor. "Just tell me if you need any help" says the clerk. Thinking about how close the 99 freeway is to the hotel, the weary traveler asks for a room away from facing the freeway, but is politely told no, since you booked through expedia, this is what you get. OK. Parking lot contains many broken down cars full of belongings. She thinks maybe they must be giving out vouchers for the homeless, or for fire evacuees. The elevator is marked with graffiti, but she thinks, OK they are remodeling, I'll get past this, and proceeds to the room. On entrance to the room, she is greated by a radically askew lampshade with holes in it. Looking past the lamp to the window, a freeway view with curtains which do not close!OK, it's the freeway, I guess I dont care if they look straight in. See pics for the full view of this amazing place! Breakfast was fast, as Zombie like people in pajamas were sharing the tiny area.Intresting mix of business people and transient residents.

Great room, super clean, loved the decor, extra towels already in the bathroom was a bonus, this hotel is one of my favorites!
