Cons: Continental breakfast was a bit small. Not much to it.
Very clean room and the staff were very accommodating. We needed a 1st floor room and they went out of their way to provide what we needed.

Disappointing

Pros: Interior room was clean.
Cons: Sofa needs to be replaced.
Location: It is truly a truck stop for resting during a long trip.
The outside appearance and cleanliness was not acceptable. The truck noise was unbearable. The room itself was clean (thank goodness), except for the sofa which really needs to be replaced.

Pros: Price
Cons: Clean up trash around hotel.
The outside areas of the hotel were dirty, trash, cigarette butts, etc. our room was clean and comfortable. We had a problem with our A/C, staff came right up and fixed it!!! Need a larger breakfast room with more breakfast items.

Extremely nice for the price

Pros: Clean, friendly staff; excellent TV channels.
Location: Nearby there are no good restaurants left there now. Otherwise, this is a pleasant little town just off I-5 for an overnight stay.
The Day's Inn was clean and pleasant. It was exactly the same price for one lady with dog as the very unpleasant Motel 6 across the street where I stayed a month ago. The difference was like night and day!

Kind of dirty and outdated

We needed a place to crash after driving for 18 hours and found this place because it was near the freeway and inexpensive. The staff was exceptionally friendly but the rooms were pretty bad. Very outdated and dirty. This hotel is in a truck stop area and the area has a really bad fly problem. If you leave your door open at all, your room will be infested with flies. I had to borrow a fly swatter from the front desk and go on a killing spree. We smashed about 50 flies in our room. Overall, it wasn't the worst place, it was good enough for a place to sleep after being in the car for so long.

We are in a middle of a renovation and should be refreshing our rooms with new bedding and drapery to match the new Simmons bed and other items that we have recently updated. California storm

Room was very nice, weather was just horrible (wind & rain) not the fault of the motel. Owners very helpful with getting our computers to work as the storm was causing problems. Only negative was the morning breakfast as there was very little to choose from.

Booked a room with two beds for myself and my daughter as a layover on our way from LA To SF. We arrived late to find they had no two bed rooms left, despite having paid in advance. It was late and we were stuck settling for a single king bed. Boo.
