"Lovely hotel on a nice square. The hotel very much up to date and beautifully kept. Staff were exceptional, super friendly and very efficient. Breakfast was excellent with great choice available. Everything superbly organised and nothing was too much trouble Bedroom was functional with a very well appointed bathroom with large shower. Condition of the hotel was excellent. "Lovely room with TWO balconies, view over lake. Easy stroll from station (7-8 minutes, with luggage), immediate access to all- old town, restaurants, funicular to Madonna del Sasso etc, ferries for lake trips,. Staff totally helpful and engaging. Great stay for three nights before stunning train trip to Domodossola ."

"I took s last minute trip to Ascona and had wonderful luck booking a room overlooking the lake. The room was comfortable, had a petite balcony with a table and two chairs, and the bath was modern. The staff were AMAZING and Friendly. The food was delightful. Bteakfast was a typical European buffet, and eggs and bacon could be made to request. I will definitely return to this lovely hotel. "

"I received the best massage I've ever experienced, here. The pools and spa are excellent, would love to come back to return for a relaxing getaway. Transportation to any of the other restaurants, or into the city, is definitely challenging due to how high up on a mountain it's located. "
