Pros: Central location and easy entry, exit. Good parking.
Cons: I gave a shot list of minor issues to the manager. Nothing serious.
Location: Good location. Nice selection of very good food nearby.
I enjoyed the stay there, it was basic but very clean.

Welcomed room after very long drive. Felt great to be done for the day and get a good rest. Water had to run a while to get to temp but fine. I'd stay there again.

Great room

I just stood there for one night. The room that we had was fresh renovated and looked really nice. I was one of the best hotel-experiences we had on our Roadtrip. I was almost quiet, just the trains made some noise, but you can hear them everywhere in that small City. The room was clean and the internet worked, not to fast but it was okay. Just the staff was not that friendly but that is at least the only really negativ part from my experience.

Okay for the money

Location: The town of Mojave is surrounded by desert hills and wind turbines. I read of a UFO museum there but did not visit.
I obtained a coupon magazine for California motels and found this place in the magazine. I then used Trivago to check ratings which were okay and made a reservation. The clerk was very friendly, accommodating, and also directed me to a nearby restaurant. The room was okay, spartan but adequate for one night. The busy Union Pacific is directly across the highway and has many trains, plus there is highway noise that tapers off some at night. There is a swimming pool which I did not use.

Good Location & Value

Pros: Location, friendly staff, and priceThe
Cons: Considering the price, I have no complaints. Although located roughly 200 feet from a railroad with frequent freight trains, we slept soundly.
Location: Historic marker next to Denny's, commercial aircraft and spaceport at town airfield, Red Rock Cyn SP, outdoor recreation & exploring, museums
Whether stopping overnight enroute to somewhere else, or selecting Mojave as a destination as I did this weekend, the Airport Motel 6 was a good combination of comfort and location. With the exception of towels that were too thin, and lack of artificial sweetner for the free coffee in the office, comfort, cleanliness and a Denny's coffee shop within easy walking distance was definitely worth $55 incl TOT. When a smoke alarm began beeping, the manager immediately removed it and returned with a new one. My husband and I were there for the Gold Rush Days celebration, and particularly the parade led by Bobby Tanner's 20 mules pulling a set of 2 historic Borax Freight Wagons with an historic Water Wagon hitched at the end. The parade starting point was only one block east of the highway and one block north of our motel, so we were able, with many other locals and visitors to watch the wagons unloaded from trailers, then walk a block to Denny's for breakfast, and return in time to observe the laborious task of hitching up the mules to the long chain attached to the lead wagon and move into position behind the color guard. My husband, a grandson of the Pacific Coast Borax Co. founder, was able to ride on a shelf attached to the side of the freight wagons to support wagter casks when these wagons hauted colemanite borax from the Calico Mountains to the Santa Fe Railroad at Daggett, roughly an hour east of Mojave, where they were built.

Good Value

Cons: Pool was out of order.
Location: It's right next to the Mojave Air and Spaceport, which is where I needed to be.
I was pleasantly surprised, considering the Expedia rate was just $50. The clerk was courteous, the room was functional, adequate, and clean. I didn't use the microwave or refrigerator, but it was nice to see them there. The bed was fine. There are long, noisy trains that pass nearby regularly, but my earplugs mostly took care of that problem.

Overall it is a decent place to stay. The room was clean and quiet. The only issue I had was the WiFi went out at 5 pm and wasn't working until the next morning on both days I was there. I called the front desk and they said they always have problems with it because we were in the back building.
