The owners are a super sweet couple and very helpful. They suggested a wonderful restaurant and their place is a quaint and cozy place with a beautiful garden and peaceful surroundings. A nice breath of fresh air after incredible Rome.

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and its grounds. The location was beautiful with a full view of the Abbey at Montecassino. The restaurant's food was superb and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I plan to return to the Agriturismo il Piopetto in the future.

This is a charming family-run small hotel. The facilty is great & you can't help but love the family. There is a small restaurant where they try to give you anything you want. The grounds are beautiful & it is within driving distance to many other many attractions.

Great agriturismo ….grounds beautiful, owners friendly and helpful. Great restaurant on site. Room well appointed, clean and comfortable. Perfect place to stay for visiting Montecassino. On-site parking with plenty of room and some parking area covered!

Adequate for one night stopover
Beautiful setting, room small, bed very small, considering my husband is over 6ft. Bathroom small and shower small, could do with some further cleaning, black mould in the grouting around shower. Restaurant adequate, food was ok. Breakfast table and chairs were damp as were serviettes. Adequate for a one night stopover

Pioppeto review
Conversing in Italian, I find the old man very welcoming. There were 3 other old friends of the old man talking to him that day and they wanted to find out what nationality we were..Fil-American. I've studied Italian at UC Davis and traveled extensively in Italy in 1978 and had a chace to practce my Italian quite a bit and met my wife at Rome's Termini Station. Knowing the language can make things a lot easier to convey our needs. We were traveling wiht a rental car so getting around was no problem. Pioppeto is a beautiful place. Breakfast is an option and was only 5 euros. Wifi...use Pioppeto Router when in room. Pioppeto 1 or 4 at the check in or breakfast location.

The property was beautiful and very inviting, well taken care of, with much attention to detail and high quality. We enjoyed staying there because of its charm and quiet, yet close proximity to town and cultural sites such as the Monastery and other nearby important sites. The service in the Agroturismo was excellent! It was very comfortable and peaceful.

A comfortable stay in a farm house
The host sent me a google map for direction of the hotel. It is very useful as my GPS was not helpful. When I arrived. The host immediately helped me bringing the luggage to the room. After driving for three hours to reach the hotel, I was very tired and nearly dared not to drive to the nearby restaurant. At that critical moment, there was a group of six Italian guests check in. I asked f I could join them for dinner. They agreed immediately. I was having dinner in a traditional Italian restaurant. The breakfast was awesome in a well decorated dining room. Thank you for giving me a happy stay.

Lovely charming agriturismo
A really lovely charming stay. We loved everything they did at this agriturismo to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. There was everything you could need and a lovely breakfast in the morning. After touring some more crowded areas of Italy, it was so relaxing to enjoy the peace and quiet just outside Cassino. As it wasn't the summer period, they did not offer dinner but recommended a lovely, unique place less than ten minutes away. It makes a nice base for exploring other nearby areas.

Going Back In Time!
It was a great one night stay! Easy check-in and check-out. No problems. Nice simple breakfast in the morning too! Quiet and relaxing. A nice break from the hustle and bustle of the tourist towns we've been visiting. The Abbey on the hill was a nice find also and worth a couple hour visit to look around. We did not visit the museum portion though (a small fee is required). Note, it is kind of hard to find this place. They need a sign at the "y" intersection because it's real easy to make the wrong turn and follow the GPS. With a little effort you'll figure it out and be pleasantly surprised with the farm-like location!

Our only problem was the restaurant had just opened, and there was no indication prior to ordering that we HAD to pay with cash and no Visa payment would be accepted. Our last night in Italy; we scraped up enough Euros left over to pay the bill! Otherwise, a beautiful room, lovely area...

Cassino History
We had a lovely stay in this country side home. Our hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. Our breakfast was fresh and delicious. Our room was more than I was expecting. The grounds were beautiful, and a true Italian experience. We would most definitely return an recommend. The area of Cassino and the Abbey are a must see!

Wonderful hotel near to the town for excellent restaurants recommended by the hotel owner. Our first Agriturismo. - a great experience! A short drive to the monastery which was superb. A car is essential. We’ll be back on our next trip to Italy.

Stayed 3 nights on Italian holiday and location is secluded and mostly quiet. Lawn cutting with weedwacker started early so likely not a spot to sleep in. Clintel contribute to the restfullness. Highly recommend Sir Jaspers for dinner but it is a driving chore to get there for 2000 opening. Loved the experience

Lovely spot
Great place to stay if you are visiting Cassino as it is out of town in the country, away from the not so attractive town centre. The owner was very accomodating with us arriving after their normal closing time due to a missed flight to Rome. A word of warning - if you use Google Maps make sure you enter the hotel name in the search, NOT the address, otherwise you will end up about 500 metres away and not find it in the dark!

Wow...
Get in here while you can, because after this wonderful couple is finished turning it into a resort, you may have trouble booking. This was the favorite choice of my 20-something daughter and her friend out of the five different places they stayed during their Italy trip. The converted farm house seems like a B&B/hotel hybrid with each individual room meticulously and tastefully decorated and furnished by the prideful owner, who lives in the main house. Long driveway gives it seclusion, but is only a five-minute drive from downtown shopping. On the foot of Monte Cassino, the view is spectacular. An inground pool and large stone patio is under construction, hinting at something very special here.

Secluded and safe!
The owner and his wife are great people. The gate was locked - hotels.com should mention this is a B&B - and the owner needs to be called about opening the gate at night. Rooms are awesome. Location is awesome. Loved it!!

Immersa nella natura, la struttura si è rivelata ottima per le nostre esigenze. Pulizia, tranquillità, confort, cercavamo tutto questo insieme all’accettazione di animali domestici. Raccomandata anche a chi ritiene gli amici a quattro zampe parte della famiglia! Ottimo. Anche la prima colazione buonissima, peccato non fosse compresa nel prezzo! :-) In ogni caso consigliatissima.
