Nice hotel, a little dated in places but on the whole good condition & excellent value. Perfect location for ski in/out mere meters from the pistes. Hotel also had a nice outdoor terrace off of bar for post ski wind-down drinks. Breakfast & dinner was good for the low cost option of going half-board. ...
Fantastic scenery and amazing staff. We were upgraded to a suite and they welcomed us with a glas of cava. Best hotel experimence ever.
good basic hotel with an excellent buffet breakfast one thing to be aware of is that if the snow cannons are operating overnight, then you have no option but to keep the windows closed otherwise sleep will be difficult - imagine trying to sleep next to a couple of jet engines all night!!
Excellent hotel with great location!
A bit far from the action in Granada. Lovely hotel very spacious, saw only a handful of other guests. Huge rooms. Breakfast was ok. Not a massive variety. Despite reviews there was a kettle in the room. Only downside was there was no availability of an iron. You had to use the laundry service.
Very comfort hotel , clean , amazing
It is a great location right in the center of the main plaza very close to ski tickets, lifts, food, grocery store and anything you may need. The couch bed was not very comfortable though it was tolerable. You may get a bit of noise from the plaza, but it quite down reasonably early by Spain standards. ...
Great location. Non of the local restaurants or bars were open after about 7 though. Staff efficient and friendly. Typical ski resort hotel in that it was way too hot. Slept with the window open. Good breakfast and pleasant surroundings. I recommend it.
Fantastic stay at Melia Sol Y Nieve. Hotel wasn't busy and was offered an upgrade to the Level Lounge. This included a better room, free access to the Spa (for both of us) and access to the family and adult-only lounges in the hotel, which provided free drinks and snack all day. The upgraded room ...
Some think of vacationing and imagine sun tanning on the beach. But you would much rather be shredding down daring hillsides in the backcountry. Expedia knows just what you're searching for. We have 125 hotels in Monachil from $57 to $68. Whether you want to stay at the lodge closest to the slopes, or you would rather find a resort in the city, we can help you make reservations wherever you'd like to be. If you'd like to read what fellow ski bums have to say, there are 835 reviews that you can scroll through.
Traveling with all your gear with you can be bulky and overpriced, depending on your transportation choice. In the event that you forgot some of your cold weather wear, there are sporting apparel shops in town that you can pick up some last-minute items once you get to Monachil. Don't forget to take in the views of the slopes and freshly fallen snow. You'll be wowed as you feel the snow on the nose of your skis and the wind in your hair as you fly down the slopes. If your group hasn't been skiing before, even just one lesson can go a long way in getting the most of your ski trip.
After a long day of skiing, you just might need extra time to warm up. See if the front desk knows about any warmer activities in Monachil to help you get some heat back. They may know of some kid-friendly ideas, like checking out the local movie theater or bowling alley, roasting s'mores over a bonfire, or playing board games at the hotel. They might be able to give you some "adult swim" options as well, like a 21 and up club, a cozy bar with cocktails to warm you up, or an on-site spa. When you decide to call it a day, you will have a freshly-made bed and a room full of amenities to help you have a relaxing night. What are you waiting for? You're just minutes away from your booked ski vacation!
