They deserve more than 4 stars. Clean pros. I would recommend it to anyone who would visit monte carlo. Also i would stay in this hotel next time i visit. The best location.............................. ...........

Pros: Location, sea view room, casino.
Cons: Rooms could be updated, including seperate shower. A less formal snack/ coffee bar.
Location: Casino and Cafe de Paris is very nest. McDonalds and Starbucks across the road.
Hotel in excellent location, walking distance to everything. The casino square is very near and the casino can be seen from the hotel. The breakfast selection is amazing, even though a tad expensive €38 each. Rooms are very clean but didn't like the shower over the bath! The hotel should not advertise the facility of a swimming pool which is Nikki Beach because if it is full even though you are a hotel guest you can not get in! This isn't to everyone's taste either. We went to the champagne bar which had no atmosphere as there was only us and another couple there. We had a late flight back but could use the amazing spa facilities to shower and change in, staff here were amazing too.

Best hotel, but the food is expensive

The location is perfect. The food is expensive but there's a McDonald's and a Starbucks next to it.

Best location. Very walkable and luxurious

All the restaurants have fantastic water views and delicious food. From the rooftop you can easily access all the area amenities. Very good DJ at the pool.

タオル類等が使い込んでいる感があったり 朝方までクラブミュージックがお部屋まで聞こえて静かな時がありませんが、レストランやショッピング、クラブが近くに多くて便利。立地的にしてはリーズナブルだと思います。

single parents and kids

To inform single parents with kids that carry a different surname to carry with them a photo copy of dads ID and a letter of authorization. We were not able to check in for about two hours till I had it. This is because apparently Monaco have strict rules regarding this

Room with the terrace was amazing

So far my best stay in Monaco ;) I recommend to take a breakfast ;) restaurant located on the last floor with the terrace overlooking the port of Monaco, sea side and mountains. Easy assess to Buhda bar from the upper entrance of the hotel. And Nikki beach of course one of the best places in Monaco. I sure come back there.

central hotel lots of amenities but no free wifi

Only real complaint is no free in room WiFi. What is this the 90s? It's a premium hotel don't nickel and dime guests like that. Also the hallways are a little run down. But overall it's a great place to stay.

Please note that the hotel went through an extensive refurbishment program from 2005 till 2009, when we completed all maritime facade rooms, all public areas and restaurants. The latest addition was our world acclaimed Nobu Restaurant in 2014. Location: Good location next to shopping
Not worth the money. They didn't have a king size bed when I checked in, so they charged me an extra 120 euros per night for an "upgrade" to a room with a king size bed. No direct beach access.

I am pleased to read that you have enjoyed the location of the Fairmont Monte-Carlo and I am sorry to read that you originally did not had the type of beds you prefer. Given the anonymous nature of Expedia pseudo names, it is difficult to investigate and to give you a proper answer concerning your stay. I can, however, assure you that the upsell is normally justified by the upscale category of room and not the type of bed, typically upgrading from a garden view room to one of our Sea view Rooms, where one can enjoy the stunning view of the Mediterranean sea. While the hotel’s location can’t afford to have a direct beach access, we do partner with three private beaches in Monte-Carlo where our guests enjoy private shuttles service, Fairmont branded amenities and charge to room possibilities. I am sorry this was not explained to you and wish to apologize for that communication shortfall. I would appreciate to be in contact with you at your convenience, should you wish to discuss this further with me, trusting that we will yet give us another chance to redeem ourselves in your eyes and welcome you back again to the Fairmont Monte Carlo.
