Great Hotel in Menton
We really had a good time here. The hotel is located near to the centre-village and all of the atractions in Menton. The hotel is very clean, quiet and in very good conditions with parking and big garden in front of the entrance. The rooms are confortable, spacious, with a fridge and balcony to oversee the city. The staff of the reception are very friendly and helpfull. We really recomend this hotel if you wish to stay in Menton

Great location and value at the Hôtel Club Vacanci
The hotel is very nice with a great location, near restaurants, shops, the old town and the waterfront. It was a quiet area as well. The buffet dinner didn't quite meet our expectations. However, for the price and service, I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Menton!

Really lovely hotel. We had a garden view room. Very peaceful place. Staff are very helpful and kind. Breakfast is ok. The room it is served in is huge and there is not a lot of order so it feels chaotic. You can take your breakfast outside and sit on the terrace which was nice. There are many restaurants & cafes serving breakfast if you don’t want breakfast at the hotel.

Beautiful clean property, having lounge areas both inside and out. Staff spoke minimal English and there was no fridge. Same breakfast options every day. Within walking distance to the beach and downtown.

We visit Menton each year to go to Monte Carlo tennis. For the past 4 years we have stayed at this hotel, it is perfect for us. Short walk to restaurants and beach, and station. Set within beautiful gardens . Staff very friendly and helpful, single rooms small but well designed with plenty of storage space. Very clean and comfortable. We love this hotel and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

The location of this hotel is perfect quiet and peaceful but close enough for the bus and train stations three train stops your in Italy six stops your in Monaco ,this is our fifth visit . It is a ten minute walk to the beach and bars

Excellent place in a beautiful location!
The building was formerly “The Hotel De Venise”, one of the many palaces around Menton that during the Belle Epoque were frequented by the European aristocracy in search of mild weather. Indoor is modern with the charm of the old times. The hotel is surrounded by gardens with exotic plants. Excellent location just 5 minutes from the historic centre, close to the train station and 5 minutes’ walk to the sea. There are many restaurants, bars and supermarkets around. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly all the time. The reception is open 24 hours and in the huge lobby, there are plenty of comfortable armchairs and a convenient bar serving drinks at a reasonable price. The room was modern and clean and the bathroom spacious with complimentary toiletries and hot running water every time. The towels were clean and changed every day and the air conditioning was excellent. The breakfast was a fabulous buffet style with lots of different choices to eat, amazing! The staff at breakfast hall was very friendly too. The gardens around the hotel are big with many tables and chairs to sit around, there are lights everywhere, stylish lamps that make the plants and the trees look so charming at night and the place really safe too. Menton is a lovely place very relaxing and family friendly, a lovely old town just a short trip to Monaco and Italy. The food and the wines are wonderful everywhere in the area as is a concoction of Italian and French gastronomy that makes the trip worth.

Excellent stay, no issues and quite convenient
I thought the hotel was very good and comfortable. The front desk were very helpful and gave good clear advise when we had questions. The only other thing to mention is the car park is small therefore if you have a big car, you may find it difficult to park with some spaces. The room was fine and quite spacious. Breakfast also had a good selection of items. Overall I would visit this hotel again.

This hotel was a lovely aged building. My room Was small but clean and fresh with a beautiful but small bathroom. However for the price and location size does not matter when you’re spending time out of the room. It’s a perfect place to stay. I walked to the hotel after arriving via train. This took under ten minutes with all my luggage. It is also five minute walk to the beach and is very central within the small town of Menton. Both the town and hotel have a wonderful charm. Breakfast was included which was great and was quite sufficient including eggs, pastaries, fruit and cereal. Staff were friendly and helpful and the late check out time is a great additive. As a young solo female traveller I felt very safe staying here and I wish to bring all my friends and family back with me to enjoy Menton.

The room is not ready and they told us it will be ready in 30min but after 35 min nobody come to us if the room is ready. we drove 12 hours to get there. we need to approach them again if the room was ready. We don't any nice approach from receptionist even a simple smile or simple sorry from them.

Everything was great! The only minor things that will make this beautiful hotel 100% perfect is better soap and a small swimming pool for guests. A superb breakfast for all guests is included and is served in a beautiful and magnificent room. The young man tending the food on Sat. July 21 was so awesome and pleaseant.

Good location was the bonus. Breakfast pretty poor. French staff not helpful even though we spoke French. Bar poorly stocked. No choice of bottles of white one. The one we were given was awful. They couldn’t give change from a 10€ on a Saturday night. To be honest the clientele were all very ‘mature’. I felt like Poirot was going to summon is to the library and discuss the latest crime! It was ok but I wouldn’t recommend or return.

The hotel is a Belle Epoque that was recently renovated. The staff was great and the grounds are well maintained. The park and upper deck for breakfast are lovely. Overall, a very good choice for a stay in Menton.

I arrived 1 day early. They booked for the same price as Hotels.com as well as upgraded me to a larger room with 1 twin and one queen bed. View overlooking the gardens and sea. These rooms are very large compared to your average european hotels. Hotel recently had a make over, simply beautiful. If unr messy they don't clean your room everyday. I just found out what time they would be on the floor and gave them my trash and asked for anything else I needed. I travel with wash clothes but they provided fresh towels hand/bath upon request. The staff was awesome. You may have a problem with a few people who don't speak english. People in France r not rude, they just dont understand u. Just as u get frustrated with them its vice versa. If you don't want to purchase a french speaking book, you can google key french phrases and print them off before u leave hm. If u can't pronounce some words u can at least point to it on your cheat sheet. There is not a refrigerator, icemaker, or cofee maker but this was not a biggie for me. The free breakfast buffet was awesome. The free wifi was a major plus, I was able to face time my family. Shopes, grocery, pgarmacy, and resturants are just steps away. You can also book tours or do your own EZE, Cannes and Monaco are very close and u can book your trips by train online. The menton train station is a very short walk. If you re traveling with children or someone who can not walk a distance, take a taxi due to contruction Nice Airport.

A short stay in Menton.
This was a second stay here. The hotel is generally good, but on this occasion we were disturbed by other guests slamming doors, and loud chat in the echoing corridor during the night, leading to broken sleep. The breakfast room is large and there is a good and plentiful choice available. The hotel has a pleasant feel, though not all staff are as helpful as they could be. The wifi in public areas is unsecured. The hotel is in an excellent location for local amenities.

Very good hotel but facilities lacking !
Hotel is in a very nice location, convenient for the old town, station and beach. Room was large and comfortable but no tea or coffee making facilities. Wifi is next to useless in any location in the hotel. The only thing to be aware of is the hotel basically shuts down at 10pm so no late night drinks on the terrace !

Disappointed to say the least! I had read good reviews but I've no idea how they could give it a good review !? It's like staying in a hostel, self serve, no concierge, have to bring luggage to hold all by yourself, downstairs toilets are terrible. The foyer is nice but it's downhill after that!! The bedrooms are tiny, the upgraded room are disappointing for an upgrade, expected better,Very cramped with the smallest bathroom I've ever stayed in! Cleaner for 4 days in a row, did not leave us with any shower gel when there was clearly none left! Had to ask reception everyday, it was like deja-vu!! No shower facility and the smallest communal toilet I've ever been in didn't make it easy to get changed after checkout as we had a late flight and spent the day at the beach! The breakfast was terrible, I would rather go out even though it was part of the stay! Personally, not a hotel for me ! Staff were pleasant is the only positive I can give.

We have enjoyed our hotel stay and especially the town of Menton. Very nice tourist sea side town and close to Monte carlo and Nice. However, the waster stream in the shower did not have enough pressure. So, it takes time to take a shower.

My principal reason for visit was to attend concert at Parvis St. Michel and hotel was quite convenient for there as well as being out of the main street. I only had one moan - chambermaid did not replace shower gel and as I was travelling on hand luggage I had none with me - but reception staff were quick to produce.

Short stay in Menton
The hotel is in a good central position in Menton. If you are taking a cra you may fid it a bit difficult o find as it is set well back from the road and you have to turn off the main road to a side road to find the hotel Reception and Parking. We were unfortuntae in that we had a room at the rear of the hotel which overloked the main railway with trains running up to abaout midnight and starting again as early as 5 am. Our inclusive breakfast was much in keeping with many French hotels in that it provided a reasonable cold buffet. Hot breakfast each day consisted of not particularly well made scrambled egg and small, quite tasty sausages. If you are lucky enough to get a room at the front of the hotel you would have views over attractive gardens.
