Expensive and terrible

Terrible pools, terrible dining, no one at the beach to set you up. Bad distribution of commodities in general. Extra expensive, a normal room for 700 a night????? Valet 40 dls the night plus 40 dls daily on resort use????? This resort is more than evident crap. Very bad experience in general, Cristian Castro

Overbooked and understaffed

Pros: Not much
Cons: No pets or separate hypoallergenic florets., it was barking bad dogs everywhere
Location: Nothing at walking distances
Hotel was NOT ready for new yearl’s Eve/Day guests and was severely understaffed, Everything was slow and not up to the customary Ritz Carlton standards. Would not go there ever again. Also, too many pets allowed without any regard for pet allergic people.

The hotel has incredible customer service. I do have some issues on the following items.I found the water drained very slowly in the bathroom sinks. The drawer on the nightstand was broken. And one of the overhead lights was out. It may sound picky,but when staying in a 5 star hotel,I expect to have those things fixed before a guest would stay. I would stay at the hotel again because of the outstanding customer service.

disapointing

I found that the hotel is overrated and is actually overpriced for what it is. 700$/night for ocean view where balcony door won’t shut, air vents for ac where full of dust which is not acceptable plus staff working in hallway are loud. Not what I expected from a ritz Carlton standard. Disappointing.

Great location with beautiful views

Pros: Although very busy room was extremely quite
Cons: Billing
Location: Lot of choices near by to eat and relax.
Excellent hotel and allowed us to have a great long weekend. Would consider staying again.

Wonderful experience

Pros: Beach access and pool layout and gym area.
Cons: Updating carpets
Location: Located near Dana Point and Laguna with lots of restaurants and shops
Enjoyed club level upgrade which was wonderful for a celebration of b-day and our anniversary. Food in club was excellent. Enjoyed being able to access the beach ocean without having to navigate across PCH. Room was large and comfortable though carpets need updating. The Christmas deco throughout the hotel was beautiful.

Beautiful location, stunning views,

Cons: Evening meal menu a little too eclectic for our taste.
Location: Beach walks and pool.
Beautiful location, stunning views and service second to none. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. staff very attentive. Attention to detail is evident a wherever we went. Special mention to Brian Dolan at poolside who made us especially comfortable and Charles at the front desk who made us welcome.
