Econolodge Moncton - Poor Experience
Posted Aug 15, 2016
The best part of our stay is that the hotel is located close to downtown. The staff was okay . The noise level at midnight was absurd. They hotel has a stated policy of no noise after 11pm, but this was not enforced. We tried to call the front desk to report and ask for assistance, but could not reach anyone. We learned the following morning that the number had been updated to #100; however in the info in the room it stated to call "0" to report noise or for any other concerns. Their room binders are generic, do not apply to the hotel configuration and need to be updated.
The room cleanliness was okay, bed okay, but overall not anything that would convince us to go back. The "delux" continental breakfast consisted of four different kinds of cereals and assorted breads, and that was about it. The breakfast room was very small, not very clean and people ended up eating in the hallway or in the lobby area.
Overall we were disappointed, and we're not that hard to please and were really just looking for a comfortable, quiet place to put our heads down for the night. We would not recommend it to our friends.
