“We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. “We had a lovely stay here, was perfect with the playground on the doorstep and the summer house. My daughter loved it! The pool was perfect too and was a good way to spend the afternoon. “House looked great from the front, less so by the side door. It took a while for us all to find our way around on the ground floor, a lot of doors off a long corridor!The lounge furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. “Der Zugwaggon ist wirklich eine sehr besondere Unterkunft. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Die Einrichtung ist mit Liebe zum Detail. Es war sehr sauber und alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub benötigt. Leider war die Klospülung meistens nicht zu stoppen und ist permanent nachgelaufen. Der Waggon ist wirklich sehr schön, benötigt aber dringend eine Restauration, vor allem die Fenster. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig, wenige Minuten zum Strand. Ein paar mal am Tag fährt ein schöner alter Zug vorbei.……
