We got there on Friday 7/28 to check in and they had a sign on the door ”Closed due to water damage”. I was never contacted to let me know. They just let me get to the property thinking I had a place to stay and nope. Nada. Expedia took care of us but this place is terrible!!

The property was condemned. Had a notice on the door that it was shut down due to structure damage from roof leaking. Then took me over an hr to convince expedia of this and to get a refund without a penalty.

I called 3 wks in advance and spoke with property manager to inquire about renovations and give them a chance after seeing bad reviews. BIG mistake!!! This hotel is worse than reviews say. Manager outright lied saying pool area had been renovated and remodeled sections were very clean. Girl at the desk said there hasn't been water in the pool the whole 10 months she has worked there. Seriously looked like we were stepping into a horror movie!

*****DO NOT STAY AT THIS "HOTEL"!!!!**** The homie at the front desk scammed us and took our money. I had a week booked here and had called the front desk lady the day of my checking telling her I was going to be late. I had the call record on my phone! When I arrived at the hotel someone had marked me as a no show. The homie at the front desk would not let me check in since someone marked me as a no show. I even showed him my phone record telling him I let shawniqua know I was going to be late and he said yeah that's our phone number. STILL wouldn't fix the issue. This place is a dump. The "staff" smell like weed and won't help you out when the issue is on their staff messing up a week long booking. Stole my money and wouldn't let me check in. Negative 5 stars. You've been warned. You get what you pay for. Stay elsewhere!!

After reserving my two rooms a day before the hotel still rented them out to other customers and we did not have a place to stay nor did the hotel accommodate us. They said my money should be returned by Expedia and even when contacting Expedia they did not do anything to help me out. I have always used Expedia for past hotel stays and flights but with this experience I don’t think I will continue to use them for future bookings

My husband showed up at OYO to find people working on their cars in the parking lot. Then, when he got inside, they had no record of his reservation. So, he had to drive clear across Monroe so that he could stay at a decent motel. Supposedly Expedia and the motel are working on a refund.

To start checking in was terrible. There were two ladies at the front desk talking about stuff not related to work. Kept me waiting for over 15 mins to check in. This Hotel shouldn’t be in business it barely functions. Parking lot dark, the automatic door doesn’t open so you have to manually open amd close. Used condoms at the hallway. In the room you will fins roaches, dirty almost sticky carpet, them rooms really need to be remodeled. Tub clogs i mean the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed hands down

This property was AWFUL. The facility was run-down and dilapidated. There was a leak directly over the check-in counter. Our reservation was cancelled by the manager without informing us prior to our check-in attempt. I was told it was because the cleaning ladies didn’t want to clean all the rooms.

Very scary place to stay, half of the property is abandoned, no lighting, no hot water. I pushed furniture in front of the door because I was literally scared to go to sleep. Only stayed for two hours and left.

NOTHING like the photos!!
We booked online from Kansas. When our guys got to the hotel, they could immediately tell that the photos online did not accurately match with the inside. There was no one behind the counter or in the lobby but there was a sign up on the desk that said NO vacancies, please call who you booked with to get a refund. And then when I called a different hotel right down the road, I was told OYO is not even operational even though they rent rooms.

We should have known it wasnt going to be great by the fact the hotel sign was not lit up. Nothing like the pictures, no towels, super dirty in halls, bathroom, & bedroom. Went to the bathroom and stepped in something wet, clear, and goopy on the floor. Had to throw my socks away! Needless to say, we did not stay there. Didnt even go back to desk to get a refund. Just went down the street and spent the night at quality inn.

As I walked in I saw a sign on the doors to please close automatic doors behind you. I walked in the lobby and it smelled like smoke. I went to the desk to check in and the girl was fine. I asked about breakfast and she said they quit doing that 3 months ago. I told her she may want to have them update that information on hotel.com. She gave me my keys and told me where my room was. I walked through to what appeared to be an atrium that smelled like pot. I walked a few steps snd the room numbers were scratched off so I didn't even know what the rooms were. I took one last look around and realized that I was in the preface to a horror movie. I returned to the front desk and told her that I cannot stay here. I asked her to return my copy of my ID to me and walked out. Do not stay here. I never saw the room but if everything elss was an indication it would have been worse.

Me and my family stayed here 10 years ago and it was magnificent. But now the condition of the hotel is beyond what condemned should be. (Myself, my daughter, 2yr old grandson, and a friend stayed)The first room they offered us was nasty, was missing light bulbs, the back door to the room was welded shut,smoke alarm hanging from wall, bathroom nasty,moldy coffee grinds n coffee pot, exit doors to hotel tied,chained,bolted shut,had to walk across whole hotel to feint desk, under ceilings that were falling apart, clerk had not a clue as to anything. She gave us a light bulb and told us to install it. The other lite bulbs the room needed she said was a maintenance problem and they were gone till next day. The second room she offered us was worse than the first. The fire alarm was clearly ripped off wall and not even n the room.There is no possible way to describe all the hazards and rudeness and cussing the cleaning lady addressed us with when we asked for coffee or a remote for our tv to even work. Just look at the pics. This is absolutely no place a woman or child should stay. Both ends of the hallway to our room were dark and the exit doors at each end didn't even have keyoss or were able to be locked in anyway. It was non-refundable so we were stuck staying the nite there, if it hadn't have been cold and raining we would have took our chances staying in the car at a park or somewhere.

Disgusting,booked accessible room paid online when arrived was told that room wasn't available. Gave another room that didn't have toilet paper in room at all no towels at all. bed was tousled and there were dead insects on the bed the lighting had to be found with a flashlight, no phone service had to use personal phone to call the desk to ask for towels and toilet paper then had to go get it myself. i have medical issues and all that wasn't necessary the website said accessible room that was /is ada compliant well this was clearly not the case. the room was dirty had crumbs of food stuck on the microwave the fridge was dirty the paint on bathroom ceiling was peeling lamp on desk didn't have a bulb the light by the bed didn't work had to be pushed into plug to get them to work. Website said there was breakfast well that was not available as well. There was trash and dirt in the hallways and the door of room didn't even have a number like the rest it was written on the wall by the door. The chair had a stain on it's ottoman. I have photos of all the issues I had with the room. The staff were cordial and apologetic but it wasn't their fault they just had to listen to the complaints and look at the pictures

Roach infested motel
This is the worst motel that I have ever stayed in, when I walked in the room was full of roaches living and dead and the bed had dead roaches all under the covers so I did not stay I walked right back out, also there were lots of prostitutes hanging around the motel and the pictures are not what the hotel looks like their pictures from some other type of motel, the pictures are very misleading not a safe place to stay if you have kids, also there are people outside dealing drugs when I first walked into the hotel do not recommend this hotel to anyone

I wouldn’t know we left. OYO was horrible I would never recommend it. I walked into the room and walked right back out. The room smelled like cigarettes. There was blood on the bed. Beds were not made right, there was cigarette ashes all over the beds. Pillows were missing. Beds were not made right. Roaches were crawling on the walls , there was some dead already.

I booked a cabin. Went by the property and was told they were still cleaning. At that time they did not say no cabin. Then they ran me around in the dark there were no room numbers. Then they sent me to one that had the bed broke down furniture in the middle of the floor. Then they gave me one smelled of ueine. After that the new desk pwrson went all over the property herself to find a decent eoom. And after i got in i couldnt see because the lights didnt work. Room 193 143 501 and dinalky 607 . Trash. Should never be allowed to rent. Appears abandoned .
