Clean and comfortable

Pros: It was very affordable and the room was nice and comfortable.
Cons: Needs an iron and ironing board. Everything else was fine.
Location: Great location....near Walmart and IHOP.

Old and dirty

Very old and dirty hotel. When we got in the room it didn't smell very good, like it had been smoked in, although it was a nonsmoking room. We turned on the air conditioner and after about 30 minutes we started to smell something burning and the smoke alarm went off. We quickly turned off the air and called the front desk and no one answered. We went to the front desk and they moved us to another room. Same experience, smelly, dirty.. Plus it was on the back side of the hotel and it was a little scary feeling.. Then we had to listen to people in the room above us running a marathon I think.... Or doing jumping jacks... Or both.. All night! And the beds were very uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, you experienced a time when we did not meet those standards. Being a nonsmoker myself, I fully understand how unpleasant it is to walk into a nonsmoking room to find that it had been smoked in. I will pass your comments along to our housekeeping staff. Needs spaying for there where a few roaches .I was so careful not to take any with me .Staff at night was excellent .

Great facility with excellent staff. Great location, convenient access from the Interstate. Close to good restaurant and Walmart Super Store next door.

Business Meeting

Pros: The staff! Some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet.
Cons: Municipal water supply. I'm not crazy about taking a shower or washing my hair in brown water.
Location: Centrally located just off I-20, close to shopping and restaurants.
My friend and I stayed here for a business meeting this past weekend. We were very surprised to find a very friendly staff, a clean, comfortable room and a great location close to shopping and restaurants. We'll definitely stay here again!

nasty and loud

the room smelled terrible the towels and washrags was stained dingy looked dirty like they have never seen bleach the bathtub was stained the toilet would hardly flush If I hadn't have been so exhausted and needed rest I would have left to find another room staff acted like they had lost their best friend no smiles the mattress had a big sagging place in it was very visable...worst stay ever

Unfortunately, you experienced a time when we did not reach our goal. Due to guest feedback, we have decided to switch our beige towels to white ones. We are currently in that transition to white towels. I have spoken with housekeeping concerning the cleanliness of our bathtubs and toilets. Billy Brown has Terrible Front Desk Skills

The front desk clerk was very unfriendly and did not seem to want to correct the issues that we had with the room. The chain on the door did not work, the tub/shower did not work correctly. The clerk screamed and hollered at me and my children for being as he said, "a needy woman." I have stayed numerous times before at this very hotel and never had any issues. This time it was a nightmare!
