"We checked in late but Christophe was waiting for us. The property is beautiful, well maintained and very quaint, typically French which was just what we wanted. Our room was fabulous, beautifully decorated and welcoming (warm and cosy). Breakfast was continental and filled us up for the day ahead with breads/yoghurts/cereals. This a small family run hotel which suited us well and we will definitely recommended to friends and family. One small thing to note is the availability of restaurants...

"This was the second time we stayed at gite la grave haute sud and it was just as amazing as the previous time. It’s a great spacious house with a beautiful garden and view. Very calm and private nook in the lovely Dordogne. The location is perfect if you want to discover everything the Dordogne has to offer or even for a day trip to Bordeaux. Felix was as attentive and nice as ever. We definitely want to visit a third time! "

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "Booking was made easy and any questions answered promptly by the lovely owners, Marie and Michel. A wonderful, very generous welcome gave us all the information we needed. The gîte is spacious and clean with very nice living/eating areas, a well equipped kitchen and big bedrooms with much needed air conditioning. The large outside space is lovely, leading up to the little l'Escoussous river bordering the garden, with a little bridge opening up onto neighbouring fields. It was very relaxed and...

"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "
